My bolded excuse that you can just skip (I’m going to delete the author’s notes when I re-edit): I know, I’m the worst person in the entire world and I am so sorry this is another ultra-late update! School has started, senior year, and everything is incredibly stress for me right now. I had a class I just didn’t get at all and had to deal with trying to keep up the grade until I transferred out. Plus everything else going on. Please, bear with me! I'm so sorry, again!

Drew felt Wesley flinch next to him when Jason mentioned something about fighting. He tried to nudge Wes, to get him to look over to him so they could have some sort of communication but he wouldn’t budge. He watched as Wes stared down at his feet, looking defeated, frightened, and paler than Drew had ever seen him. He tried to get it out of his mind. He tried to peer out the window, past the guard blocking his side but as soon as he leaned forward a bit, he was punched in the jaw. So instead, he just peered down at his own feet.

Wesley on the other hand was repeatedly counting down from 10 over and over in an attempt to calm himself down. He could feel a panic attack going on. He didn’t know what Drew would do in this fight situation and he didn’t know if he could handle the pressure of having Drew watch him do it either. He kept picturing Jared, on the floor, limp. It made him want to puke. He felt Drew nudge him but he knew that if he caught eye contact, he’d break. He jumped when the guy hit Drew and slid himself farther back into his seat, worried that the other guy blocking Wes’ door would think to do the same thing. It’d probably be for the better, Wesley thought, maybe it’d knock him out. He didn’t have time to debate over this issue though because before they knew it, both boys had bags thrown over their head and were being pulled out of the car.

As they were led into a building, Wesley could immediately sense where they were. He didn’t think he would ever forget the scent of the pool area or the distinct echo it made when he was walking through it. He felt the back of his knees being kicked and he was pulled down to the floor. His wrists were unhand cuffed and reattached behind the familiar pole. Again, he started to count back from 10, wondering where Drew was. The bag was ripped off his head and he was able to intake the all too real scene.

Drew was led farther down, closer to the office. They kept him standing and ordered him to remain against the wall, adding the “or else” with a menacing growl. They took the bag off him and he immediately looked for Wes, going to take a step toward him but deciding not to. It was too late for Wes to look away as well when they caught eye contact. Drew looked lost and confused but Wesley just dropped and shook his head. Drew thought he may have saw his eyes water, which concerned him even more.

“What’s going on?” Drew asked, trying to sound as soft and scared as he could.

The masked man next to him pretended to go punch him, yelling “Shuddup!” as loud as he could. Drew flinched and it sent the man into laughter.

Ashamed, Drew just looked around. This was the first time he’d ever been there. He took note of the various sizes of planks of wood and other sharp shrapnel in the pool. The old blood stains were hard to miss as well. The place sent a shiver down his spine.

“Ah, Wesley, let’s get this going,” Jason boomed, strutting out as Wesley was hoisted to his feet.

Drew’s head shot up, confused. His head started to pound and his heart started to beat quickly. Was this some sort of torture chamber? Were they going to kill them here in the pool? He didn’t have to wait long as the ancient locker room door across the place opened. In walked a chubby man in a suit with several masked men and what looked to be a seventeen year old, uncuffed but looking dingy. Drew watched as both the 17 year old and Wesley were led to the middle of the pool.
