Drew lost track of time quickly. He already hadn’t known how long he had been from home the first time he woke up. Now, with the constant darkness and periodical visits by masked men, he had no idea it had only been two days. He stopped trying to focus on time, anyway. It didn’t matter, he thought. They force had lost him while they were trying to solve this case, he was sure it’d would be a lot harder now with sketchy clues if they got any at all. Drew felt that the only way he would get out of here was on his own and the help of a miracle. He decided to give up on thinking about ever leaving as well after that.

Instead, he preferred to focus on stopping himself from going crazy. The long hours of solitude and darkness would try to creep up on him and drive him mad but he was able to bat it back down. He tried to somehow make this work for him and enjoy himself. He was finally able to calm down, by himself, and just think. More often than not, he thought about three things: Wesley, how he would die, and what came after. He hoped Wesley was better off than him, fully believing that Wes was strong than him anyway. He knew he put himself down a lot but that was who he was and he didn’t mind it. He also wondered if his death would be painful. He hoped if it came down to a gun point, he would be gone immediately. He just didn’t want his last seconds to be in pain. Finally, he often thought about after death. He believed in a higher power, that was for sure, as well as everyone had a spirit. He decided it would be cool to come back as a ghost.

Randomly, or rather as random as it could be, four masked men came in. Drew watched them as they took off all his restraints. Wondering if perhaps, they were about to let him go, a bag was thrown over his head and cuffs replaced around his wrists. He jolted but tried to keep his nerves calm, there was no way he’d win if he tried to fight it out with these guys. If that was the path he was willing to take, an escape, he’d have to wait for the right time. He felt hands grip his arms as they led him through a bunch of hallways. They came to one room and waited to be let in. Once in, Drew felt himself being pushed back. Before he could brace himself for a fall, he landed in a wooden chair and the bag was taken off his head.

He looked around, still in a bit of a daze. The light in the room was dull so he was able to get used to it pretty quickly. He examined around him and realized the room was awfully tiny. There were four gray walls, his chair, a cabinet on the floor next to it, a camera faced in front of him, and a swivel computer chair to his side. The men uncuffed his hands and retied them tightly to the chair arms as well as tying his legs to the chair legs. Drew hissed at the one who had not only pinch him with the rope but had tight it a bit too tight. It didn’t matter to the man. When they were done, they reopened the door and two stepped out into the hall while a man walked in.

“How ya’ doin’, bud?” the guy smiled, sitting down in the swivel chair, looking at Drew as he waited for an answer.

“Swell,” Drew spat back, still sceptic.

“Hmm, you don’t know me do you?” The man frowned. “I’ve changed a lot since you last saw me, I mean I saw Wes the other night at the hotel but he’s an idiot so…”

“Wes?” Drew asked, confused.

“Oh yeah, he let me know you guys would be at Twist, cool kid, quite a shame…” he trailed off.

“A shame?” Drew asked, eyes bugging. “What shame? What have you done?” Drew tried to lunge at him, momentarily forgetting his position. It didn’t matter, all he did was hurt himself anyway.

“Calm down,” the man laughed, leaning down into the cabinet. He pulled out rubber gloves and put them on, making sure to snap them on his wrist. He than pulled out a small vile and a needle. He laughed as Drew’s eyes got cloudy with confusion. “Ah, let me explain what’s going on, yes?” Drew slowly nodded. “Well, you see, we’re switching locations. Unfortunately, the van would be too noticeable so we have to take a normal car. We need you knocked out for the entire ride, which is why I have this. Don’t worry, it’ll hurt until you pass out.” He laughed as he pull himself closer to Drew’s arm. Drew struggled as hard as he could. He wiggled back and forth and moved his arms. Each of the masked men that stayed behind stepped up and grabbed his shoulders, pulling and holding him still. Now, he couldn’t move at all as he watched the needle.
