Chapter 6

"Salad lang ako today, ha..." Sabi sakin ni Camille habang tumatakbo kami dito sa treadmill.

"Yeah, ako rin." Sabi ko.

Mag-iisang oras na kami ni Camille rito sa gym. When it's going to be exactly 11 am, then I'm done. Ewan ko dito kay Camille kung anong oras siya matatapos. Baka siguro titigil na kung nanginginig na ang mga binti niya.

When my watch beeped, I stopped the machine and turned to Camille. She was still running while looking ahead, in front of us was the big glass window that has the view of a public park. Dun lamang siya nakatingin habang tumatakbo at nakikinig sa music mula sa kanyang earphones.

I grabbed my tumbler and face towel from the bench and walked towards the lockers. While I was walking, a tall and muscular guy approached me.

"Jillian Jones." He said.

Kunot noo ko siyang nilingon. This guy is absolutely handsome but I don't know him. He knows me since he knows my full name but how? Nagkita na ba kami noon?

"Uh, hi. Have we met before?" I asked.

He chuckled. Ooh, sexy. "Yeah, months ago. In a party that my family hosted."

"Oh, sorry. I can't remember..." Ang dami kong pinuntahang party noon, alin dun?

"Gael Herrera." He offered his hand with a smile, showing his dimple.

Oh, now I remember! They had a big party for his Mother a few months ago. I met him, we talked and drank together. At single pa ako sa panahong yun. And he was actually cute, but cuter now. Actually, handsome! Hindi lang cute ang masasabi mo sa lalaking to!

I accepted his hand, returning a small smile. "Jill...but obviously, you know my name already." Sabi ko sabay bitaw sa kanyang kamay.

"Uh-huh," He nodded. "what are you doing after? We should have lunch...you know, catch up?"

"Ah, sorry. I have plans..." Sabi ko at wala sa sariling napahawak sa aking wedding ring.

Days after our wedding, hindi ko sinusuot ang singsing ko. Chris talked to me about it but I didn't listen to him. Why would I? Then my Daddy found out about it because my snitch twin sister told him, pinagalitan ako. So here I am! Showing the world that I'm already married and cannot flirt with this hunk in front of me.

Sinundan ng kanyang mga mata ang aking kamay. Then he chuckled softly before returning his eyes on my face. He smiled again. Palangiti talaga tong lalaking to, kaya ang gwapo lalo!

"I didn't know that you're already..." He pointed my ring with his lips.

Natawa ako. "Married?" Yeah, kahit ako nagulat. "bago lang din."

He didn't know, why? Kalat yung kasal namin dahil parehong sikat ang mga apilyedo namin ni Chris.
