"That'll do for now," said Taekwoon to himself as he walked out of the store once again with a bag of cat food. He had done extensive research in the past on the proper food and care for a cat, but he never put that knowledge to use.
Until now.
Will it be there? Taekwoon shook his head. Probably not. Animals don't just—
He stopped, staring at the place he left the cat. "No way," he whispered, and quickened his pace. Sure enough, the calico was sitting in the same place on the sidewalk with a docile demeanor. Taekwoon felt a smile tug at his lips again.
"You really waited for me," he said sweetly, and the cat meowed. He petted its head and then shifted all his bags to hang on his arms. "Let's go home then." He picked the cat up securely and held it close to his chest.
"It's a good thing my apartment allows pets," he told the cat. It meowed again.
The trip back to his apartment felt like it only lasted a second. Taekwoon felt like he was walking on air—what luck he had, finding a cat to take home with him! He couldn't wait to start his new life as a cat owner.

"Here we are," exclaimed Taekwoon, walking into his abode. He set the cat down and headed to the kitchen with the grocery bags. First thing to do would be to put his purchases away for later.
But his eyes landed on the coffee machine sitting on his counter as he walked into the room. Right. Time for his third coffee of the day.
Having a coffee machine was really handy for a hard-core addict like Taekwoon. Not only that, after having it for so long, he had become adept at making his all-time favorite coffee: lattes.
Except . . . his latte art never quite looked like the ones baristas made at an actual shop. It always resembled an oblong shape at first, then melded into a light brown, frothy color. He'd come to terms with that a while back.
The cat was poking about the corners of Taekwoon's living room. He smiled as he watched it and he placed his hot latte down on his coffee table to cool as he finally put away his groceries. Although definitely a curious creature, the feline probably wouldn't be interested in his coffee, high up on the table.
But as soon as he turned his back, the cat looked at the table and the steaming cup. What is that?
A/N: What is your favorite VIXX song/era? It's hard to pick since they have so many incredible bops and concepts, but if I had to, I'd say I like either "Dynamite" or "Scentist" the most, though "Shangri-La" holds a special place for me since it was my first actual VIXX song besides their Moorim School OST.
Don't forget to vote and leave me a comment! Feedback is always welcome.
