Rami's P.O.V

I gripped the handle of my umbrella tightly as I made my way through the busy streets of Paris.

The sky was cloudy and dark and it had been raining since yesterday.

Usually France was sunny and bright but for about a week everything had just been dark and miserable.

I pushed and shoved through the crowds of people surrounding the train station.

I made it to the platform I needed just in the nick of time. I couldn't be late for this audition.

Right as I walked up to the platform my train pulled in.

I quickly folded up my umbrella and held it at my side.

Once the doors opened up I walked onto the train to see that it was already packed.

As I walked down the aisle i scanned through all the seats to see if there were any empty ones.

There was a single open seat.

The seat was across from a rather tall man who was wearing a very neat suit and had a newspaper covering his face.

I shrugged and walked over to the seat.

I sat down across from the mysterious man and made myself comfortable.

He seemed to have noticed my presence after I sat down.

He folded up the newspaper and revealed his face.

My jaw almost dropped to the floor when he removed the paper from in front of his face.

"Hello?" He clicked his fingers in front of my face to get my full attention.

"Oh, um..hi" I forced out a weak smile.

He looked confused as to why I was acting this way.

"What's your name?" He asked to break the awkward silence.

"Rami" I answered.

"Well, Rami, what do you do?"

I hesitated for a moment.

"I'm uh- I'm an actor" I said, nodding.

He made some sort of face of approval and sat back in his chair.

"So..." I looked at him as if to ask what his name was.

"Gwilym" he replied.

I'd never heard that name before but it was above name nevertheless.

"So, Gwilym, what do you do?"

He straightened his tie before speaking.

"That's for me to know and you not to find out." He smirked and it sent a chill down my spine.

During the hour long train ride we got to know eachother pretty well.

It was almost like I'd known him forever but at the same time he was still so mysterious.

The train came to a halt and interrupted me mid conversation. I looked out the window and noticed I was at my stop

I stood up, grabbed my umbrella and bag and began walking off the train.

Gwilym tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention before i got off the train.

He pulled a small piece of paper out of his pocket and pressed it to my chest.

I took the small piece of paper and put it in my pocket.

I flashed him a friendly smile and he returned the gesture.

I slowly walked off the train, not wanting to leave the perfect stranger I had just met but like I mentioned before, I can't be late for this audition.

I hadn't gone for an audition in ages because I usually don't get a call back or casted.

I personally think I'm a pretty talented actor, I can play a variety of roles like funny ones or dramatic ones but maybe I just don't have the spark most directors are looking for.

I tried to push away all the negative thoughts that were clouding my mind, maybe this audition might go well, maybe I might get casted for once.
