"You're like me!"

"Okay, whoa, calm down. Just because we share a sexuality, doesn't mean we're alike in any way."

"I haven't seen you around before."

"That's because I blend in with the shadows. I'm short, black and emo."

"And your asexual? Like me?"

"I thought we already established this. Who are you again?"

But then, I just started crying.

"Crap. What did I say? Uh...There, there? What's wrong?"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"You don't want to- Then what are you doing here?

And then I started crying, again

"I can't believe I'm saying this but, Do you...Do you want to come over and talk about it?"

"Come over?"

"My house is right over there. And my dad probably has cookie dough for your pity session."

"I do like cookie dough."

"Good, you can eat it so i won't have to. It gives me real bad diarrhea and probably salmonella."

"Gross."

"Let's go."

"Wait, I don't know about this."

"Good for you listening to those lectures about stranger danger. From the looks of it you could fling me across the park without trying. You have nothing to worry about."

And so we went to his house."I'm home!" He shouted when we entered his home. "Okay, one second Louis!" His father shouted back. Louis, huh? Doesn't really suit him. "Do you know whe- Who's this?" His father smiled. "Dad, meet my friend..." Louis looked at me. "Violet." I told him. "You finally found a girlfriend? A cute one too. I'm proud of you son." His Father excitedly told him. "Dad, it's the 21st century. Guys and girls can be friends." Louis said. "Of course. Well, you two have fun. I'll leave a extra spot at the dinner table." His father nodded and left the front room. "I'm ho-" Casey's ex boyfriend entered the home and saw me but, awkwardly speed walking past me. "You guys are related?" I asked. "Step brothers. I hate that guy." Louis told me. "Same." I laughed and we went to his room.

"Sorry not sorry about the mess. It's your fault for making me feel bad so last minute."

"Is that why you asked me to come over?"

"Don't mistake me for a good person. It's just that..."

"You saw yourself in me?"

"I didn't have anyone back when I discovered myself."

"Does your dad-"

"Yeah, he knows. That doesn't mean he cares. He keeps trying to set me up with every girl he sees. He can't stand his biological son being a queer. With all the eyeliner I wear he thinks I'm gay."
