How would Evelyn react if Roy and Riza had a kid shortly after events of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and are condemned for war crimes in Ishval?
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Evelyn, please come down to Central," were Uncle Roy's words to me over the phone.

I didn't ask questions. I immediately packed my bags and mumbled some excuse to Edward why I was leaving so suddenly as I boarded the next train to Central. When I arrived, I took the familiar path to Uncle Roy's apartment and knocked on the door. Despite being the new Führer, he refused to move his living quarters to a much bigger, much more luxurious home.

Riza Hawkeye opened the door, smiling immediately when she saw me. Her smile, instead of joy, was full of sadness. "I'm glad you came," She sighed as she opened the door, letting me in. As I stepped in, I noticed and smiled at the wedding band on her finger.

"Is something the matter?" I asked.

"Eve? Is that you?" Uncle Roy stepped into the living room and once he saw me dashed up to me and hugged me.

"Woah woah woah," I stumbled back, catching my balance quickly as I dropped my suitcase and hugged him back. "Let me ask again; is something the matter?"

"Ah...yes..." Uncle Roy stepped back as he sunk down onto the lounge chair. "How do I put this...?" He muttered.

"Roy and I have been condemned for our war crimes and Ishval and are sentenced to death tomorrow," Riza stated.

My eyes bugged out. "No way!" I cried as I began to pace the floor. "This can't be happening! Uncle Roy, you've done so much for this country since you've become Führer! Shouldn't that make up for what you've both done in Ishval?!"

"Nothing can ever atone what we've done in Ishval," Riza said.

"But back what we've called you down here," Uncle Roy explained as Riza left the room. "We didn't call you here just to tell you what's going to happen to us. I need you to do something for me. For Riza. For the both of us."

"You two shouldn't be the only ones getting punished!" I cried, not listening to a single thing that uncle Roy was saying to me. "You two aren't you the only ones who did horrible things during the Ishvalan Civil War! There were many more who've done things just as bad, if not worse than what you did! Whose going to take over the country when you're gone?"

"Olivier Mira Armstrong," Uncle Roy informed me. "Or rather, Führer Olivier Mira Armstrong. About a year ago I resigned my position as Führer and she took over. She was the one to grant Riza and I a full year and half to ourselves after the last war criminal was punished before we faced our charges."

"We're the last ones to go," Riza explained as she stepped back into the living room.

I noticed that Riza was cradling a bundle in her arms and I shut up. She came to me and I held my arms out, placing them into position as I knew what Riza was about to give to me. She place the warm bundle in my arms as I looked down at what was in my arms to see a baby girl in my arms. She was awake and looked around, staring at me curiously. I gave her a nervous grin as she began to whine for her parents. "Meet Maya, our daughter," Uncle Roy whispered to me. "She's the reason Führer Armstrong gave us a year and half off before we meet our end."

"...Uncle Roy? Riza?" I asked them. "What's the meaning of this?"

"When we leave this world," Uncle Roy explained as he stared out into the busy streets of Central. "I want you to take care of Maya for us, Evelyn, just like how I took care of you when you lost your family. It's your turn now."

"Uncle Roy..." Tears began to swell up in my arms as I cried, my warm tears falling down and landing on the baby's face. She stared at me in wonder, watching me cry as she got an arm out from the swaddle she was in and placed a warm hand on my cheek as I stopped sobbing and stared at her.
