Chapter Eighteen

HARMONY'S POV:

He kissed me so roughly. I tried pulling away and pushing him but, he didn't bulge so I gave up and kissed him back.

Sucking and biting each other's lips while, he roamed his hands all over my body. I wrapped my legs around him as he carried me to the sofa.

Laying me down gently, he started feasting on my neck and I gave him more access moaning non-stop like a broken record.

I already forgot why I was angry in the first place as I undid his button. He finally let go of my lips
  "Not here" he stated huskily. He carried me to the room with his hands on my butt.

When we finally got to the room, he continued kissing me kneading my ass in the process. He glided his left hand to cup my breast and squeezed it a little. I moaned loudly earning a low growl from him.

Within seconds, we were already in bed naked and touching each other intimately. My hands gliding up and down his groin while he sucked on my already hardened nipples, fingering me in the process.

It was a weird position but I couldn't think clearly now. He was about to penetrate me when his phone rang.

I jerked away but he seemed unfazed about his phone. It was as if an ice water was poured on him as he got up abruptly.

His cellphone ring tone changed to Hello- by Adele, which was quite silly for a man. He looked scared so, I reached out to him as he picked up the phone.
  "Hello?" He cleared his throat. Worry was his only expression so, I started to kiss his shoulders while running my hands all over his gorgeous body.

I don't know what the person on the other line must have told him but, a tear slipped off his eyes. He got up immediately and went to bathroom and came back 5minutes later all dressed but his eyes were so red

I got up to ask what happened and who had interrupted our marital rites but, he just packed his bags and left. Not just the hotel room or Paris but out of my life.

I was alone in the room naked and left behind. My eyes stung as tears start rolling down my cheeks. Why did he leave me like that?

I decided to stop moping around and go get some answers from that jerk. What did he think of himself?, That he can kiss me, almost made love to me and then leave me all alone in a strange city?.

ADRAIN'S POV:

I froze the moment I heard that ring tone. It was her favorite song. Could this be that they've found her?

They found her after so many years now. Here I was having a steamy moment with someone else when, the woman my heart has always longed for has been found.

My Sofia, my world, my reason for existence. I went back to New York and drove home like a madman. I found Scott, the man I hired to look  for her standing outside my door.
  "Where is she?" I asked anxiously
"She's inside boss" I quickly ran inside the house. My heart pounding against my chest. I got inside and saw her sitting on my couch uncomfortably
  "S.. Sofia" she turned swiftly. She looked surprised and as beautiful as I remembered.

She ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I held her so close as she sobbed in my shoulders. She was finally back in my arms and I would never allow anyone or anything to separate us again.

I took her to my room and let her get settled. She took her bath while I arranged her bag in my closet. She came out of the bathroom in only a towel, taking my breath away.

She's still as beautiful as ever. I gave her some privacy to get dressed.
"I'm decent now" her soft tender voice which I missed so much called out to me. I took her to the living room
"Where have you been all this while, not a day has gone by without thinking of you and hoping that you'll one day come back to me" I held her soft cheeks staring into her beautiful blue eyes
"When I was abducted six years ago, turns out my step father had sold me to some merchant who used me as a slave. I was only able to escape few weeks ago, wondering about in the woods till your men found me." Her voice cracking from crying too much
  "What did they do to you? I'll make them pay" my blood was boiling from the immense anger I was feeling.
  "It doesn't matter anymore. How have you been?" She peered at me with curiosity. How do I tell her that I was married to someone else and that I was about having sex when they found her. I couldn't bring myself to tell her so, I hugged her whispering into her hair
  "I've been miserable without you, for the first time in six years, I feel like I'm able to breath again" which was true
"I missed you so much Addy" she sobs  burying her head in my chest. I miss her nickname for me. I was still hugging her when someone spoke from the door.
"What's going on here?"

HARMONY'S POV:

I got home ready to kill Adrain when, I saw him in the arms of another woman. Holding her like she was the most fragile thing in the world. I have never seen him this way even with that slut Nicole Kirby.

So, he left me to come be with another woman? Also in our house. How could he? I thought we were past this already. I couldn't control my hurt, anger or jealousy anymore
  "What's going on here?" The lady which seemed to be around my age turned to look at me. Her eyes were sore from crying but that didn't alter any of her beauty. She was slightly skinny, with long black hair and beautiful blue eyes.

She looked impeccable which made me a bit self conscious about myself. She looked at Adrain asking him who I was but, before he could answer, I beat him to it
  "I'm his wife. Who are you?" I walked closer to them
  "Oh!!, I..I'm sorry. I...i should leave" she tried moving out of Adrain's arms but he held her back. For the first time he looked vulnerable and about to cry
"No Sofie, she doesn't mean anything to me. It was all arranged by my parents, an inconvenience because of the company. Have waited so long to be with you again. Please don't leave me, I love you so much" he said pleadingly to her

I mean nothing to him?, So she's the reason he can never love me. He had someone already. I can't blame him, she's beautiful while I'm just me. If he already loved her, why did he marry me? Why did he make me get attached? Why did he make me feel like I had a chance

I didn't know when tears started slipping from my eyes. The beautiful lady, Sofia, whose name I have come to know Walked up to me and wiped my tears.
  "I'm sorry, I'll never come between you and Adrain. I'll get my bags and go. What Addy and I had, is in the past now" she turned to walk away with tears slipping her eyes. I looked at Adrain and looked like his spirit was about to leave him
  "Wait" I spoke up. She and Adrain turned to look at me.
"Y..y..you can stay. There's nothing between Adrian and me. He still loves you and has never stopped. Like he said, our marriage is just an inconvenience" with every word I said, I felt my heart breaking into fragments.

I mustered the little courage I had and walked away from them towards my room not wanting to cry in front of them. If I couldn't get a place in his heart? Why should I prevent him from being with the one he truly loves. I can never separate the both of them. That's not the kind of person I am. I don't even know who I am anymore.

If only I knew I would fall in love with my husband and then get heartbroken, due to the fact that his heart longs for another, I wouldn't have married him. I wouldn't have come to disrupt his life
