Chapter twenty-six

HARMONY'S POV:

After professing our love for each other, we went on and carried on with the rehearsal dinner. The girls all dragged me to a corner
"Now listen B, you remember the wedding gift Ariana and I gave you a year ago on your wedding?, You can make use of it for now until you get a new one" what gift? Oh I remember the one I still don't know what it is
"What is it anyway" they just stared at each other and giggled
"Harmony, am very happy for you and I'm sorry for being the reason you almost lost your marriage" she sobbed
"No Sofia, I have never blamed you for what happened between us. In fact, if you hadn't come into our lives, Adrain wouldn't have been able to let go of his past and love me. So if anything, I am grateful to you" I held her hands and wiped away her tears
"Thank you. I hope we can be friends" I smiled at her. She's such a nice girl, I hope she finds the certain someone that is going to adore her for the wonderful woman that she is
"Correction, we are already friends" we both hugged each other while Meg complained she was feeling left out. We all hugged and laughed.

We were still chitchatting when Lamar came to ask Ariana for a dance, Meg ran up to Blake and also pulled him to the dance floor. Despite being pregnant, she's still so hyperactive. I laughed when she removed her shoes. I was still looking at them when Adrain came up to me
"Mind if I have this dance" he offered his hands smiling lovingly at me. That's all I've ever wanted. I took his hands and he led me to the balcony
"Where are we going?, The music is that way" he snaked his hands around my waist
"Yeah well, we can still hear the music" I wrapped my hands around his neck as we swayed to the song. Staring at each other's eyes filled with love for one another
"You don't know how happy I am to finally have you in my life and in my arms again" he said as he twirled me
"I'm also happy Adrain. You're all I've ever wanted" he placed his hands on my cheek
"I'm all yours. I love you" I smiled and tip toed until our lips were locked together. We kissed the night away, relived and happy to finally be together.

After Megan's wedding, Blake had asked Adrain to run the company while they're on their honeymoon. Adrain and I got closer as we worked together but he became extremely possessive
"Hi Harmony" Ron greeted. He works in the account department and is really cool. He and I used to hangout before I left for Africa
"Oh, hey Ron" I greeted back
"Do you mind if we go to lunch like old times" we always had lunch. He was a funny guy so I enjoyed his company. I agreed and went back to my office.

When it was lunch time, I went with Ron and we had a blast. Unknowing to me, that Adrain had come into my office to ask me to lunch but I wasn't there. The moment he saw me, he took me into his office
"Where were you?" He gripped my hands a little too tightly. I winced at the pain and he quickly let go muttering sorry to me
"I went for lunch with Ron" I stated
"You should have told me, I would have accompanied.....wait what?, Who's Ron" he looked angry again. Gosh this is too much
"A friend" I walked past him to go lean on the table
"So you went out with him, alone, and he's a male" he asked coming closer to me. I rolled my eyes and dragged him close to me, making him stand in between my legs as I was now sitting on his desk
"Relax okay. We are just friends you monkey, stop acting jealous" he smirked at me
"I hope it stays that way" with that, he kissed me ever so passionately. His kisses recently has been needy and demanding.

Yeah, you guys are probably wondering why we haven't done the nasty yet but, I guess I'm just not ready and Adrain hasn't complained about it. I don't know if I'm ready

I pulled away from his lips and got down from the table
"We should stop" I saw hurt flashed through his eyes as he stepped away from me.
"Oh okay, um I'll get back to work" he said and then I left his office. I shouldn't be treating him this way, I mean he's my husband and he has every right to me. I guess I was just being paranoid.

I went into my office feeling lost and confused and wanting to talk to someone. So I called Meg
"What's up B" she yelled from the other side of the phone
"Im sorry I'm calling on your honeymoon, it's just that I need your help" there was shuffling in the background
"Of course B, I'll always have time for you. Now tell me what is wrong" I took a breath before speaking
"Um... Recently, Adrain has been showing signs that he wants to move to the next stage of our relationship and I don't know how to go about it"
"Next stage? How do you mean" ugh do I have to say it? Meg can act so clueless at times
"He wants us to..to you know" she gasped and yelled
"YOU GUYS HAVEN'T HAD SEX?" Gosh this is so embarrassing
"Goodness Megan, lower your voice" I  turned to check if anyone was listening
"Okay sorry, but why?" She finally lowered her voice
"I don't know. Adrain is an experienced man, I'm afraid I'll disappoint him" I bowed down in shame
"Aww B, don't think like that. Adrain loves you and would never feel disappointed by you and besides he's your husband, he'll teach you. No one was born with the knowledge on how to have sex you know" I pouted
"You think so?" She chuckled
"I know so. Now go and make momma proud" l laughed and said my good-bye.
I hope Megan is right though. We'll have to see how everything plays out.
