It all seemed so sudden, secondary school already! Our parents decided to send us to a Catholic school for girls. Most of our neighborhood was Catholic although Hailey and I were never really religious (despite growing up in Catholic households) we just wanted to be ourselves. Our parents told us this was best for us so we didn't have to learn about gays incase we 'become gay', one thing we learnt was to never talk back to our parents so we kept our mouths shut and accepted it.
So the first day of secondary school finally came and we walked to school with our uniform all neat and tidy, our bags packed with everything we needed, we had to carry a Bible and a pencil case and wear a cross.
Year seven went by quickly and the bond between us only grew stronger, we talked about everything together.
