Just friends....

Alone

It's summer now but since our parents got called we aren't allowed home,they kicked us out,we have nowhere to go but at least we have eachother. This was going to be one long summer. We decided to take a walk to get our minds off of all of this but as we were talking Hailey turned to me and she stopped walking. All I see if fear in her eyes,as if she is about to burst into tears, she asked me "do you think our parents will ever accept us for who we are?"
I didn't know what to say, this had only just hit me,my eyes welled up but I held back the tears,I held both her hands and looked her in the eyes and gave her a kiss on the forehead as I said "don't you worry about them" and we kept walking but we didn't continue to talk.
A feeling of fear surrounded us as we walked in silence,fear of what was going to happen next.
It was getting late and it was cold so I wrapped my jacket around Hailey as we walked,she finally got tired and I sat myself up against a bus stop as she lay her head on my lap,I watched her slowly fall asleep as I was playing with her hair and singing her favourite songs,she was so perfect.
I barley slept that night,I stayed up watching her to make sure she was safe and warm.
