Chapter 3

JULIA'S POV

I can't believe that I just bumped into Tom Anderson. He is like the smartest person on this campus and he's really cute. It's so weird how his brother is different from him. Not that Tony isn't smart cause he is, their personalities are total opposites. Tom is kinda more reserved, when Tony is just out there and outgoing.

I guess you can say I am like Tony but not the player part. I'm not reserved but I know my boundaries and I'm not into bars like most of the people my age. I do have a fake ID but I'm turning of age next year so I wouldn't be needing it.

WAIT, why am I even thinking about the Anderson brothers?

Thank God Kathy came in, now I have someone to talk to.

"Hey, I heard about your encounter with Tom Anderson," Kathy greets me.

"How?"

"Oh, he told me when I walked past him to our dorm"

"You know him?"

"Yeah, I met him today at the bar"

"Really? So you two are like dating?"

"Oh no! He is just a friend and he looks more of your type, not mines"

"And how do you know that he's my type?"

"Cause you turned down every guy that has asked you out and they were the opposite of Tom, so I'm guessing that he is your type"

"I don't know, I never thought about that, maybe he is but I'll never know"

"You'll never know?"

"He's probably not gonna remember me and plus he's popular, I'm not, we would never cross paths again"

"Okay keep thinking that" Kathy tells me while going to her room.

I wonder what she meant by that.

Oh well whatever, I'll just go to sleep, I have to meet my parents tomorrow.

I woke up to the smell of breakfast and boy! did it smell good!

Kathy usually cooks breakfats on Saturdays and they are delicious.

I walk to the kitchen and greet Kathy.

"Good morning, this smells amazing"

"Morning and thanks, lets start eating"

"So what are you doing today?"

"Probably just stay here or walk around campus, I don't know, what about you?"

"You know the usual, go to my parents and spend the weekend there, wanna come?"

"But its your family bonding time"

"Your considered family and its been a long time since my parents saw you"

"Okay, fine I'll go with you"

We finished eating and then started packing for the weekend.

We drove to my parents house, which is an hour away from the campus. When we got there, someone else's car were on the driveway and I didn't recognize them. Maybe my parents invited someone.

"Someone else is visiting your parents?"

"I guess, lets go inside"

"Mom, Dad I'm home with Kathy" I yell for my parents.

"In the kitchen!" Mom responds.

We walk to the kitchen and see my parents talking to a couple.

"Hi mom,dad"

"Honey, these are Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, this is our daughter Julia and her roommate Kathy

"Hi girls," Mrs. Anderson greets us.

"Hello"

"Mom we're gonna go put our stuff away and meet you for lunch later"

"Ok honey, but don't be late, we're having the Andersons over for lunch at the patio"

"Ok mom"

We walk to my room and Kathy asked me "who were those people?"

"I don't know, I just met them, I think their business partners with my parents"

"Oh ok, well lets take a nap, I'm kinda tired"

"Agreed"
