Getting ready for this date!

A/N: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!:) I hope that you guys had a great day and I know that it has been a long time since I last updated, hopefully you guys like this! Thank you for all the readers, voters, and commentors:)

JULIA'S POV​​

​I walk inside the dorm smiling like an idiot. Thank God Kathy's not here or else she would have asked me so many questions and I was not ready for that. Hopefully I run into Tom more often, he seems like someone I would have a good time with and he's really cute.

​I lay down on my bed and took a nap; I didn't realize how I was tired. I woke up with a startle cause the door slammed. I walk out of my room and see Kathy looking all pissed.

"What's wrong?"

"Tony" she said angrily.

"What happened?" I was really confused because she never told me anything about her and Tony.

"Well I'm going on a date with him," she said sadly?

"OMG wait why are you sad about it?"

"Cause he's a player and I used to know him," she said obviously.

"You used to know him?" WTF I didn't know this.

"Yeah in high school we were bestfriends but people change and things happen," she said after sighing.

"You liked him didn't you?"

"Yup, but I didn't have a chance with him, he had a girlfriend at the time and I didn't want to ruin our friendship"

"How come you guys aren't friends anymore?"

"Well his girlfriend at the time didn't like me, so I stopped hanging out with him cause she made him happy, I thought it was the right choice"

"Now you can make the right choice by going on a date with him and tell him how you feel" I urged her.

"But what if he doesn't feel the same way?"

"I'm sure he does, he's taking you on a date"

"Maybe I don't know"

"I'll help you get ready for your date, when is it anyway?"

"Tonight at 7pm"

I looked at the clock and saw that it was 2pm.

"We have to start now or else we won't be finished on time"

We walked to her room and she took a shower. I looked at her closet to decide what she'll wear.

After 10 minutes, I saw this really cute simple blue dress that would go great with her.

I really didn't understand what was wrong with her dating Tony; I mean they would make a really cute couple. I wonder if Tom knows about this, maybe we can help these two get together. Oooh we could be cupid! OMG I sound so weird right now, I really need to stop.

"Umm Julia are you ok?" Kathy asked me with a worried look.

"Oh yeah, why?"

"You had this really creepy smile and I was calling your name for like 2 minutes"

"Damn really? It was nothing just thinking of something"

It was 3pm and we still had more to do.

"Come on, I found this cute dress and we still need to do your make up," I told her in hurry.

"Ok chill we have 4 hours, don't get your undies in a twist" she told me jokingly.

I started laughing and so did she. Man I love Kathy she always knew what to say at the right time. I really want her to be happy with Tony cause it's been awhile since she dated a decent guy.

She put on the dress and I started doing her make up. I gave her a natural look cause she really doesn't need any make up. When we finished finding the right shoes for her it was 6:45pm.

"Damn, time went by fast" she said nervously.

"It sure did, don't worry about anything, you look great" I encouraged her.

"Thanks you the best" she said while giving me a hug.

"It's nothing, you know I'll do anything for you, you deserve to be happy and this is the time"

"Julia I wouldn't know what to do if it weren't for you"

"Oh please stop-

I was cut off when someone knocked on the door.

"Your date's here"

"Wish me luck"

"Stop being nervous, just be yourself, that's why he asked you on a date"

I opened the door and there was Tony in front of Tom, both looking ready for a date.
