The Difference

It was just as last time. Monokuma announced there'd be a killing game, everyone was shocked, then we all stayed there when Monokuma left. 

"K-Killing game?!" Tenko said, worried. "J-Just s-stay calm...like me.." Himiko spoke, shaking. Shuichi turned and whispered to me. "Does this also correlate to your deja vu? You look like you've heard it all before." I nodded and nudged Shuichi. "I know what to do, but it's not going to be easy. Follow my lead." Shuichi nodded and followed me as I walked to the middle of the gym. "Hey guys! I know this situation is odd and you guys don't know what to do, but trust me, I have a plan. Gokuhara-chan and Chabashira-chan, you guys are strong and capable. You'll probably be able to protect yourselves and others, so I need you to watch out for everyone else." Gonta nodded happily while Tenko gritted her teeth and nodded. 

"For the smarter, more intelligent ones that seem to have a lot of information, we'll need you too. Saihara-chan, Amami-chan, and Iruma-chan. You guys will have to investigate a bit more. I'll help you guys as well. We'll need to gather info on this school and how to get out." Shuichi was a bit shocked, and Rantaro looked surprised, but Miu smiled triumphantly and gave a large thumbs up. 

"As for the rest of you. Please stay calm and relax. We'll make it out of here together, I promise. I'll need you guys to stay calm and stay together, meaning travel with someone else. For Hoshi-kun and Harukawa-chan, I know you don't travel often with others, but I'm sure you can defend yourselves regardless. In any case, Gokuhara-chan and Chabashira-chan can escort you when it's needed. For this to work, we've got to stick together." I tried my best to look confident, but things were different this time. I don't know if it'll have the same outcome. 

"Alright Oma-kun! Thank you for that! You should be my sidekick!" Kaito smiled wide and looked at me. I stared and sighed. "Yeah, sure whatever. But make sure to stay safe and lock your door at night. Who knows how long we'll have to stay here." Everyone nodded. 

"Then I shall prepare a dinner for us all. Let's go to the dining hall, shall we?" Kirumi said. Everyone followed her out of the gym, except Shuichi and I. "You really are a supreme leader, huh? Getting everyone to stay calm and listen to you like that...you're really cool Oma-kun." I ignored the pink on his face, most likely on mine as well, and smiled. "It's what I have to do. Come on Saihara-chan~! Let's go!" I took him by the hand and led him to the dining hall.

After Dinner, Kaede had suggested what I knew she would. Exploration. 

We arrived at the manhole Gonta had found and went in. It wasn't new to me. The whole tunnel. We tried and failed constantly. It was of no use. Everyone had gotten a bit mad at Kaede and I had put in my own personal input. Afterall, it had made me upset. Everyone went to their dorm rooms and Kaede was left sad and alone with Shuichi. 

When I had arrived back at my dorm room, I unlocked the door and saw Monokuma sitting on my bed. "What the hell?!" I said, closing the door. "Ah, Oma-kun! I was waiting for you!" I realized that this was my chance. I grabbed Monokuma before he could talk and threw him against the wall. He broke instantly and I scooped up his body parts, throwing them outside of my dorm.

Now to wait for someone to notice....

Usually, when you see something like that, you would go to tell everybody. That's exactly what I didn't want to happen. Tsumugi walked out and saw the broken bear, then started knocking on everybody's door. Most everybody came out before she could even knock on their door because she was being loud or people had actually heard the impact. "Woah! He's....broken?" "Does this mean the killing game is over?" "Praise be to Atua!" I gave a half-hearted smile that only Shuichi caught. He whispered to me. "What's wrong Oma-kun? Aren't you happy the killing game didn't even have to start?" I sighed and cupped his ear.

"I'm afraid that it hasn't really ended Saihara-chan...I think...there's probably a backup Monokuma somewhere...it doesn't hurt to suspect it, you know?" Shuichi nodded and sighed with me. Everyone went to their rooms happily. Shuichi was about to go to his, but I grabbed his wrist. "What is it?" he asked. I held a finger to my lips and pulled him into my room. 

"Wh- Oma-kun?! What are you-" I covered his mouth and peered out the door. Tsumugi had walked back out quietly and walked quickly past the monokuma, out of the dormitory area. "Follow me," I said to Shuichi, opening my door and walking the way Tsumugi did. 

Shuichi and I were quiet in the hall, following Tsumugi carefully. She walked into the girl's bathroom, almost a bit suspiciously. I started walking to follow her in, but Shuichi grabbed me. "You can't do that Oma-kun! That's perverted!" I shook my head and told him to wait for me. I walked in and checked the stalls. Tsumugi wasn't in a single one. I opened the closet for the brooms and cleaning supplies, but saw something off with the wall. Pressing on it gently, I opened what seemed to be a secret door. Hm? I didn't know about this when I was in the game..

I walked down a long hallway and reached another door. I pushed on it just a little and peeked through. Tsumugi stood there, in front of a large, computerized monokuma head. "Birth another Monokuma," she said. Another Monokuma popped out, easily and quickly and Tsumugi smiled, I ran back up the hallway and out of the girl's bathroom, then grabbed Shuichi and pulled him into the boy's bathroom. "What the-" I put both of my hands over Shuichi's mouth and looked back towards the door. I heard the girl's bathroom door open and small little footsteps, followed by larger ones.

Shuichi was clearly confused, but I had to let him. Shirogane-chan is the mastermind....
