Awaken, Chapter 5

A/N, writers block so did a timeskip to help get me going again into the story. Sorry if anyone is OOC, but regardless I hope you enjoy!!!! :) 

*Timeskip a year*

Shiori had been in the Akatsuki for almost 1 1/2 years now and had grown close to all the remaining members.

She grew accustomed to her new eyes and trained daily with the other two Uchiha men to stay at her best.

Today however, she had already departed on a mission with Hidan and Kakuzu to retrieve a few bounties for extra money for the Akatsuki.

Hidan and Shiori were waiting outside while Kakuzu was exchanging the bounty for the reward.

"This is boring as fuck, OLD MAN!!!!" Hidan yelled with his hand on his head.

"I know... I wish we could have some damn fun!" Shiori whined as Hidan's grouchy looks changed into a mischievious smirk.

"Well, well, well you fucking whining bitch. I think we have some fucking company..." Hidan darkly called to his teammate beside him who perked up.

"Watch your tongue, asshole or I'll cut your head off again... But company... you say?" Shiori responded to the male just as darkly.

Hidan snickered as they both stood up turning to face the intruders.

Team Asuma stood before them.

They began their battle as Shiori kept the three children at bay, taunting them by dodging their attacks thanks to her Sharingan.

Hidan managed to get Asuma under his rital and began his fun.

Kakuzu emerged and sighed deeply.

"I can't leave you two alone..." Kakuzu grumbled as he prepared to fight.

Kakuzu used his briefcase of money to fight.

The fight intensified as Kakashi's team showed up to lend a hand after Asuma was killed.

Shiori was caught up fighting Ino and Choji when she realized things were getting out of hand with the other two. They were being lured apart. She wasn't stupid, her Sharingan allowed her to decipher the situation and what the outcome was going to be if she allowed Hidan to be lured away by Shikamaru's shadow paralysis. She saw Kakashi about to finish off Kakuzu so she jumped over to him and used her Kamui to teleport herself and Kakuzu over to Hidan and grabbed him as well.

"What are you doing Shiori?!" Hidan and Kakuzu yelled at the same time.

"Saving your asses!" Shiori yelled as she focused her energy into using her Kamui again to send them back to the base.

The others arrived behind her as she realized she used all her chakra.

"Damn..." She cursed realizing she would either be killed or captured.

Shikamaru wasted no time in placing her in his shadow paralysis to prevent her from escaping as Yamato appeared beside her.

"We need to capture her and leave before the rest of her team returns with back up." Yamato ordered trying to keep Kakashi away from her knowing it was personal between them.

They agreed and knocked Shiori unconscious as they hurried as fast as they could back to Konoha.

---Akatsuki base.

Everyone was relaxing in the living room other than Itachi who was on his search to go find Sasuke for their final fight.

Suddenly Hidan and Kakuzu appeared in the living room clearly bloodied and looked as though they were plucked from the midst of battle.
