Awaken Chapter 6

War has begun... Are Shiori's nightmares and fears coming to reality finally? Will she hold true to her promise of following him down the uncertain road? Read on to find out! Really put a lot of thought into this chapter and made the war a slight bit different than it originally played out. No Kaguya and No Neji death. That's all the treats I can give... 

The war raged, many people were being killed by the reanimated shinobi. 

Sasuke called upon the old hokage with Orochimaru's help so Shiori just stayed in the base by herself not sure what else she could do to be of any use. She had been cooking and making sure they all had food and shelter waiting for breaks but here recently no one came home.

She was walking the base alone stopping and visiting her dead comrades doors saddened and missing them dearly until she reached hers and Obitos room.

She teared up and quickly left as she hadn't seen him in over 2 weeks.

"He hasn't come back for me..." Shiori whispered looking around at the empty area around her.

Suddenly the door flung open revealing a reanimated Itachi as well as Sasuke behind him.

"Ita..." Shiori started as her tears started to overflow.

Itachi smiled as she ran up crashing into him hugging him tightly.

"I know, Shiori... But there's important matters to discuss. Please listen as I will release the reanimation soon. Your father may have been a scum bag, but Madara Uchiha is no father you wish to have either. Please do not trust him. Obito has no idea what Madara is planning to do with you both. Obito believes Madara intends to have Obito impregnate you to repopulate the Uchiha clan.. In actualality, he intends to have that as well as Sasuke impregnate you after you have given birth to Obito's child and have that be a cycle until those children are old enough to make children and keep that cycle up to create a new army of Uchiha's under his order. He also intends to take Obito's life to bring himself back to life in a physical body. You must set feelings aside and kill Madara before it is too late." Itachi explained darkly as he began to weave signs to release the reanimation Kabuto initiated.

"I understand.." Shiori answered looking down.

Itachi released the reanimation and left with a smile on his face.

"We must make haste." Shiori sternly spoke as she ran into the armor room she had set up under Obito and Madara's orders several weeks prior.

-Flashback-

"Shiori, you must set an armory up and have supplies and food awaiting us so when we return we may fix our weapons and armor as well as eat. We must keep our strength up." Madara ordered as he left her standing in the empty room.

Obito strolled in his new outfit and mask.

"You look nice.." Shiori whispered softly reaching to touch his face.

He flinched at her touch but allowed it.

She glared at his attitude towards her and turned away from him.

"I'm sorry Shiori.. This war has me on edge." Obito softly spoke to her trying to calm her anger.

"I know it does... But you don't have to act like we are strangers." Shiori bit back trying to hold her tears in.

Obito bit his lip feeling bad and hugged her tightly from behind.

"I love you, Shiori Uchiha. I always have and I always will. Don't forget that no matter what happens. I will always find you." Obito said huskily in her ear making her involuntarily shiver.
