"CLAAAAAAAAIRE."

"SAAAAAAAAAAAM."

I took off running towards my best friend. I haven't seen her in ages! I can't wait to tell her all about what happened! Maybe she'll be able to help me figure out what to do with Harry. Cause I think we all know, I need help.

"Claire, get over here and give me a hug now! Do you realize that you're all over the news? National news programs are talking about how you were kidnapped by some psycho and he almost killed you. Care to tell me what exactly happened on that boat?"

"Um, well, basically, I met this guy named Harry, and we got super duper close, and he's now one of my best friends, but he lives halfway across the globe. But, anyways, the only reason we even became friends is because he was dared to get to know me, and so he did, but we actually became really good friends, and the guy who dared Harry didn't like that, because he wanted me for himself, or something like that, and so he kidnapped me, and then tried to rape me, but instead, he kicked me, and slapped me, and broke a few of my ribs, and caused me to have my appendix removed, but before he killed me, Harry came in, and started beating him up, and then carried me to the hospital where I stayed for 3 days because I was in a coma. But, yeah. That's what happened. Which reminds me, you're spending the night, right? Cause I want you to meet Harry! He said he was going to call me on Skype as soon as he got home. But we still have a few hours, because it's like a 14 hour flight, then he has to drive home, which is another 30 minutes. So, we have a while."

"YOU'RE IN LOOOOOOVE. Tell me allllllll about this Harry character. What's he look like, how old is he, what's he like, all of it. Now."

"Hmm, where do I begin? He's tall, got lucious brown curly hair, um, a perfect face, oh, and the most stunning green eyes ever. He's sixteen, like us, and he's amazing. He's hilarious, super nice, and an amazing singer. Ugh, I sound like some super obsessed crazy person, don't I?"

"No, silly, you sound in love! Let's go get you ready for your Skype date with Harry! Mani pedi time!"

***

"Sam, come on! Harry texted me that he's 5 minutes away from his house, which means we have 5 minutes to get to the computer! Gah, I'm so excited! I haven't seen him in, like, 14 hours! And after spending every day with him for a week, that's a long time!"

"Calm yourself, Claire! I'm sure Harry won't mind you being a minute late once he sees you. You look stunning!" And I did. Sam transformed me into someone more beautiful than I really am. How she did it, I have no idea. She didn't exactly have much to work with.

A few minutes later, I got a text from Harry telling me that he had just arrived at his house, and that I needed to get to the computer ASAP. Geez, demanding much?

"Sam, it's time! Leggo!" We ran to the computer and quickly turned it on. I'm so excited! A minute after I turned the computer on, it started ringing, signaling that I had an incoming Skype call. From none other than Harry Styles. I answered it, and immediately smiled as soon as I saw his face.

"Hey, Haz."

"Hello, Claire. I'm presuming this is Sam?"

"Yep! She's like my sister, since we're always together. It's pretty crazy sometimes."

"Hi, Harry. Nice to meet you."

"You as well, Sam. Claire, you look beautiful. Why are you all dressed up?"

"Ugh, Sam wanted to give me a makeover, or whatever. I don't even know."

"Oh, be quiet. You know you love it."

"Yeah, sure. I guess I do look kinda pretty." I smiled to myself. I looked up to see Harry smiling at me, too.

"Hey, Sam, do you mind if I speak to Claire alone? It'll only be for a moment, I promise."

"Oh, sure. Take your time." She winked at me. Oh, great. I'll never hear the end of this now.

"What's up, Harry? Something on your mind?"

"What would you say if I auditioned for the X Factor?"

"I would say do it! You're such an amazing singer! There's no way you won't make it."

"You really think so?"

Of course, Harry. Why would I lie to you about something as important as this?"

"I guess you're right. Anyways, auditions are next week, and I guess I'm just a little nervous. What should I sing?"

"Isn't She Lovely. Most definitely."

"Alright, that sounds perfect. Ugh, I wish you could be here!"

"Me too, Haz, but I have no money for a plane ticket. Otherwise, I'd be there in a heartbeat."

"Thanks for supporting me, Claire. It really means a lot."

"Hey, that's what best friends are for, right?"

"Yeah. Still, I just wanted to say thanks.

"Anytime, Harry. Anytime."

"Claire, you honestly don't know how much I already miss you. I just want to be with you."

"Aw, thanks! And don't worry, I feel the same way. I hate having to look at you through a screen. I want to see you in person, to be able to call you up at whatever time of day, but I can't, because of the stupid time change."

"I feel ya. But you can call anytime. I'll always answer. Always. I'd rather talk to you than sleep, because I don't get to talk to you whenever I want."

"Same goes to you, then. Oh, and make sure you call me as soon as you finish your audition. I want to be the first person you call. Please?"

"Of course! You're the person who really inspired me to do this anyways. My mum had been trying to get me to audition, but I was really nervous and I didn't think I was all that great. But then you told me I was amazing, and that I really needed to do this, so I am. If I make it, I'm thanking you."

"You don't have to, Harry. I'm just glad you're following your dreams."

"I'm actually looking at my dreams..." He mumbled this last sentence, so I might have heard him wrong. I mean, what does that even mean?

"Hmm?"

"What? Oh, I was just talking to myself. It was nothing really." I heard Harry's mom calling for him in the background, and he turned to face the direction the sound was coming in.

"I've got to go, Claire. I'll Skype you tomorrow, yeah? Same time?"

"Yeah, I'll see ya tomorrow, Styles."

"You got it, Ryan. Bye, Claire."

"Bye, Harry." We ended the call.

"I love you."

"I knew it!"

"Geez, Sam! You scared the crap out of me!"

"You love him, you love him! Claire's in love! This is so exciting!"

"Calm down!"

"And he totes loves you too! You can tell by the way he talks to you like you're the most important thing in the world. It's soooo sweet. And he is perfect, just like you said."

"I know. He's going to do so well at auditions! I can't wait!"

"Me too! You better tell me what happens!"

"I will! Now, movie time?" With that, we sat down, and watched movie after movie, wasting the night away. My mind wasn't focused on the screen, though. Me? I was already counting down the hours until I could see Harry again.
