"Claire, honey, you have to wake up. It's time to get off the plane." My fantastic sleep was rudely cut short as my mother woke me up.
"Fine, mom, let's go get on the boat, or whatever we have to do now."
"We'll do that as soon as we get our luggage. Now, come on. We're the last ones left on the plane."
My mom and I made our way off the plane and over to baggage claim. My brother and dad were already waiting for us there, but they knew better than to say anything to me when I'm not in the happiest of moods. Let's just say, I'm not usually the happiest camper there is.
Our bags came around soon enough, and before I knew it I found myself sitting on a Disney bus. The bus looked like a boat. A freaking boat. Really? As if that weren't enough torture, the driver kept trying to talk to me, but no one else. Can she not see I don't talk to strangers, especially if they're extremely annoying? Honestly, people these days frustrate me.
The trip from the airport to the port where we were going to board the ship was about 20 minutes. I am so glad I remembered to pack my earbuds, because I would've gone absolutely crazy if I had to socialize for the whole ride. I'm going to have to do enough of that on the boat, I don't really feel like talking to random people any more than absolutely necessary.
After that horrible "boat" ride, our bags were taken and loaded onto the boat while we headed through security. Once we all made it through, we found ourselves in a lobby, filled with people, and covered in Mickey Mouse ears.
Great.
Well, looks like there's no going back now. *sigh*
I looked around at the various people surrounding me, just to see what type of people I'll be dealing with for the next week. There's a girl that looks like a mini Lady Gaga. So, I'll be with insane people. This is just perfect.
Still looking around, I see a mop of curly brown hair. I'm assuming the hair belongs to a boy, so I start trying to get a look at his face. Unfortunately, there are a ton of people between us, so I'm only able to see his hair. Well, that's frustrating. Gah, who am I kidding. He's probably weird, or something along those lines. Why waste my time?
"Claire, come on we're getting on the boat now."
"It's about time! I'm starving!"
"I figured you would be, so as soon as we get on, we're eating lunch."
"Yay!" My mom knew just what I liked at this time of day. Food. My one and only love. It's always going to be there for me, no matter what mood I'm in.
We walked onto the boat and to the buffet style restaurant. Oh my gosh, I'm in heaven. There were so many foods to eat, and they all looked delicious! I had about 3 plates stacked high with random food items before I had finally had my fill. What? I said I like to eat!
After that, I changed into my bikini I had in my bag, and went to the pool. There were a ton of kids running wild and free, but I managed to find a spot where I was all alone. The water was at a perfect tempurature, and I finally started to relax. My alone time ended, though, when someone came and sat right next to me. What the heck? There was a bunch of room else where, so there was no reason to come play creeper and sit next to me. Who would want to sit by me anyways?
I looked over and saw guy with a perfect face and amazing green eyes, but that's not what surprised me. What really shocked me was his hair.
Perfect brown curls.
