C H A P T E R 17

I hoist myself from the pillows after 30 minutes of crying like a weak person that I am. I'm tired of crying after something happens to me. I want to do more than to let him tell me what to do after what he did.

It's my fault that Axel got hurt from trying to take up from me. This is why I didn't want him to find out.

Even if he witness it, I could have denied it so that he wouldn't have to worry about me.

I'm at the point where I don't care anymore, and I'm willing to run away to get away from Everest.

The more I stay the more I'm going to lose myself. Everything that has happened to me it's just too much for me to handle. I'm not cut out for this lifestyle and I have been given Everest so much trouble since day one.

He needs someone that would obey him and listen to every command that he orders. I'm not the person for him.

I hope he understands where he might not kill me. Shivers went down my spine for even believing that would happen.

That's why I'm running away and hoping he won't come looking for me. I have been planning this escape for a long time and I know where to go. It might be risky, but I'm willing to take that risk.

Getting up from the bed lazily, I walk towards the door. I need to find Axel and apologize for what happen earlier.

I open the door and there were the same guards standing at the door. Brandon and Sian from me asking their names a while back.

I excuse myself so that I could fit myself through the buff man. "Our faults Queen," Brandon informed me before bowing and Sian doing the same.

Overlooking them, I walk towards the elevator then press the button to open. When it finally opens, I step in pressing the button.

I groan loudly when I realized that I didn't know where I was going. I should have asked Brandon and Sian to take me there.

I'm too lazy to go back up there and I'm already on my floor.
