C H A P T E R 23

                   The girl who supposedly name is Ruby lead me to her friend that she possibly know where Hayden could be. I hope I'm not wasting my fucking time playing detective where I have more important things to worry about.

                 Ruby leads me to the back of the kitchen where people were preparing brunch. Why would Hayden be back here with these people?

                  "Amberella King Everest would like to speak to you about something important." She informs the girl loud enough where the whole room went quiet and turns their attention to me.

                Some of them were not looking while the others were looking at me in fear.

                The woman who I identify was Amberella cut the silence. "King Everest it is a pleasure for you to stop by my kitchen unexpected." I'm guessing she is the Head Chef of the kitchen by her uniform.

              Ignoring her, I look at everyone around the room. "Everyone who isn't the Head Chef get the fuck out!" I yelled, and they didn't waste any time evacuating the room under my command.

              When everyone left the room, I turn the woman who looked young for age to be running the kitchen. I don't even recall her working here.

               Probably because I don't pay attention to who works here or not.

               "Look I don't want to waste any more of my time that I already did. So I'm going getting straight to point so that you can keep preparing the food. Do you know where Hayden could be and don't lie to me?"

                The woman stood there staring at me like I was speaking another language. She then walks away from me, going back to her station to cut up some vegetables.

                  "Did you not hear what I just fucking stated?!" I scream at her, and she continues cutting the vegetables but then stops.

                  "Yeah I heard what you said, but I don't have to answer your question." She informed me and I stare at her in rage because I didn't have to be engaging in these games with this woman.

                  "In fact, you do since I'm the King and you do what I say or else─"

                 "Or else what let me go? I really don't care about being here to put up with your bullshit or anyone else in this damn Castle. I've been here way too long to know I should be treated with respect."
