 Friday February 16th

Today was the winter homecoming basketball game, luckily there was no pep rally, those are annoying, though Jeff complained there wasn’t one and they did one for the football team.

Anyway after school Derek came over just because the game was at 5pm, and he said he didn’t want to drive back to school, since my house is close to school. (I think he just wanted to hang out with me, but I didn’t mind)

When we got to my house I went into my room and laid on my bed, and just stared up at my beach picture, I seriously did that for like 2 hours yesterday.

Derek came and laid on my bed with me, which it’s a twin so it’s not like its really big.

“I like this pictures I need to get one for my room,” Derek said to me, he was lying at the end of the bed horizontal so half his body was not on the bed. (Did you think we were cuddling together? LOL at that)

“You should have got one,” I said.

“Hey I’m going to check my application status on your computer ok?”

“Sure, what application?”

“For college”

“Which one?”

“Oh USC, I just got an email that my decision was online”

“Oh really,” I said and jumped off the bed to watch him log on to his account.

I held my breath while he was entering all his information.

“I didn’t get in,” Derek said, and he looked at saw it said denied, well nicer like thank you for applying we had many qualified applications blah blah, they might as well say hey we don’t want you deal with it.

“Sorry,” I said to Derek.

“It’s cool, I got penalty more I only need one yes, and I’m good,” He said as laid back on my bed this time taking up the whole bed.

“Yeah” So, I went on the computer and checked Facebook. (I wanted to say but aren’t you worried but I didn’t want to worry him or well me)

“So yeah I hope tonight’s party is good, Eric last party was kind of lame, oh yeah you were there” (Yeah we did talk there, back when I didn’t like you)

“I’m going to help decorate after game, I already told Katy I would, do you want to help?”

“We were all going to go to Henry’s after game” (I don’t know about we all, him and Jeff probably)

“Oh well you can go, but Katy said we really could use the help”

“I’ll come pick you up after I eat, then you will have an excuse to leave early, I mean we are going to the game together right?”

“Yeah unless you want to go in separate cars”

“No, more economical and environmental” (Yeah like you care about either or those)

“Let’s turn on a movie”

“I’m on the computer”

“Why do you not have TV in your room?”

“It was either the computer or the TV, so I decided on the computer, but I can watch stuff on my computer usually”

“I usually go on the computer and watch TV or a movie at the same time, I should have brought my ipad we could have watched a movie there”

“You have an ipad?”

“Yeah my mom got it for me for Valentine’s Day well the new one, you can have my old one if you want” (So he did know it was Valentine’s Day)
