[Alex]
I don't even understand how I found any interest in this girl.
She's mean as hell!
Her attitude towards the world is just terrible!
And that damn eye roll.. she rolls her eyes at least 75 times an hour.
The way she always has a smart remark about literally anything.
The way she scoffs and huffs whenever she gets irritated.
...the way she smiles when I push the right buttons before she yells at me.
Or the way she helped me out like a caring mother over her pup.
The way she looked at me right before I leaned in and was two inches away from those soft candy pink lips.
I snap out of my thoughts as I turn to walk into Aaliyah's apartment. She's waiting with her arms folded as she taps her foot.
"What—" "-Spill!" She explodes with a huge grin on her face as she sits on the couch patting the spot beside her.
"What am I spilling again?"
"Oh don't play dumb—!"
I raise a brow staring at her in confusion.
She grumbles as she throws her arms in the air. "Ugh—! How you feel about Israel!" She shouts as she sinks back into the couch.
"You do like her, don't you?" I shrug my shoulders as she smacks her lips. "Bullshit."
"How so?" She smirks as she nods her head. "So we're going to play that game?"
I'm confused on what "game" she's talking about, so I just stare at her blankly. She only looks at me, studying my face.
"How could I trust you not to tell her?" I question as she beams "So you do like her?"
"I didn't say that,"
"So then what are you saying?!" I chuckle at her frustration as I shrug looking at my watch.
"What do you think I'm trying to say?" I smirk as she face palms herself shaking her head.
Justin walks in from the back sitting beside her as she cuddles up next to him. "Babe, tell her to stop playing mind games with me, please."
He chuckles shaking his head as his eyes settle on her. "I can't, she's always like that."
"Nonchalant and emotionless?" I look at her as she sticks her tongue out at me.
Real mature..
"Why are you acting like you can't tell me how you feel about my best friend?"
"Why should I? It's none of your business."
"She's my best friend, she is my business."
