[Israel]
"Ayo—! Blondy!" I cringe as I walk into the building to hear that name being called from behind me.
I turn to look and see Isys is approaching me with a huge grin plastered on her face. I inwardly groan, letting go of my keys and looking at her.
"Where you coming from?" She questions with the raise of her thick ass eyebrows, "I have a name," She stares at me confused for a moment until it finally clicks.
"Ain't it like, India or suin'?" I stare at her for a moment, contemplating on if I should slap the shine off of her teeth or not.
"My name is definitely Israel," I grit causing her to laugh a little. "At least I was close."
"Yeah, whatever. What do you want?" She looks me up and down for a quick second before shaking her head.
"Nothin' I just like fuckin' with you."
"Do you wait for me to get home so you can bother me or something? Does this bring you some type of joy?" She shakes her head, shrugging.
"Nope," I knew she wasn't going to leave me alone, and if I were to walk into my apartment, she'd probably follow, or wait until I came out the next morning.
I don't know what's going through this girls mind, and I don't know what she wants from me, so I'd decided on playing this little game with her for a while, so I could have my fun.
"Alright Boosie, seriously what you want?" She stares at me, confusion stamped clearly on her face before it clicks finally.
"Stop disrespecting me." She demands causing me to laugh.
"Since we're calling each other by hairstyles, I thought that was appropriate." She side eyes me for a moment, then that big ass smile appears again.
Bitch ain't shit to smile about, it's midnight. Go
Home."You think you got jokes?" She questions and I huff. "No I think I have work in the morning. Go home—!" I roll my eyes and she smiles even brighter.
"I like that attitude, keep it up sweets." She winks as she walks away, irritating me a little more.
I walk into my apartment and it's dark and quiet. I don't know if Lai is here or not, nor do I care. I just wanted to shower and get in the bed.
I'd worked a 10 hour shift and my feet were killing me. I only had time to come home change and leave back out to Aaliyah's to give her the news.
Then I'd finally agreed to have a meal with Alex.
It was not a date..
Just a friendly gesture because of how stressed I was from the day. My day was hell, I had so many rude customers and I almost lost my job for snapping back.
Alex made me forget about how crazy my day was, we'd laughed and talked about a lot of memories, friendships and life.
She made me forget that Isaiah's crazy ass was out on the prowl and I had to be cautious about the moves I made.
