"First day back and you're five minutes late? The days off wasn't enough I see!" "Mrs Marocco were sorry the traffic was heavy." Me and Tash scurried in to put on our head piece. "Don't touch that I have something more important for you to do." She gestured for us to join her in the office. "You look rough." she added quickly examining me. She reached under her desk and pulled out a crate of individual folders and placed them on top. "Corporate coming ! All these employee folders needs to be updated! I got lazy so go through and make sure of that. And add 2 new hire folders since you both feel irreplaceable!" She made her way out and close the door behind her. " Better than working the drive thru." Tash shrugged. We both knew Mrs Marocco was not going to fire us she loved us together. Hersh included we were complete goof balls but we got the job done." I'll start with the green ones." I said reaching for the couple of folders in the back of the crate. "Hope you make me proud? I rolled my eyes. "I never thought I would have a fight." I replied. "But you won. I'm proud!" "What was Chris doing when Jerome had me pinned" Tash scrambled through the paperwork. "He was arguing with dickhead trying to calm him down and ranting on about how Briana important. I don't know, I don't have ears the size of an elf you know..but if you want my thought slow down! I just think he's not telling something." I glanced back down at the folders "A freak like her was important?" Maybe I was moving too fast. Well falling to fast ."Well while were on deep topic why is Mrs.Carson your mom client? What's her situation?" Tash blurted. "I don't know she's an old colleague of hers I told you."So she's just coming around all of sudden? since I so called had an abortion? I stopped what I was doing to respond to Tash. "So called?" The door to Mrs Marocco office burst open. "I didn't know paperwork starts arguments! voices down!" said Mrs Marocco shutting the door once again. The stare between me and tash was so awkward at the moment. "You're still pregnant aren't you ?" Tash nodded in silence . It all made sense why Tash was so paranoid of Dianna Carson. "You thinks she's seeking a lawyer to protect herself from what she did? "An undefeated lawyer! Tash replied "But how would she fake an abortion how? " All I know is I'm still pregnant Hope." said Tash letting out a huff. " I'm too far along for one now." I crawled over to consult her "This is not right Tash I can tell my mom not to defend her and she take your case instead." She squeezed my hand. "She made it so believable it had to be other staff on board she couldn't have pulled it off by herself." "No she couldn't have!" I argued, While rubbing my hands across her back. Moments passed while I held her. "Well you won't have to do it by yourself! Me and Hersh are Godparents now." I said cheerfully trying to lighten the mood. . "So is that all you have to tell me?" I was hoping she would shed some light on her babyfather but her only response is "Your mom is not going to defend me." "She will! let's get these paperwork finished! I don't want to hear her mouth the next times she get in here !" I opened the folders to resume where I left off , which was reading a copy of someone's birth certificate. My eyes widened to the size of an tennis ball once I read an all too familiar name... "Dianna carson" as the mother and the father read "not stated" "tash look at this!" I slid the paper right in front of her view "What the fuck?" said tash well alerted. "Who's birth certificate?" We both scanned back to the top to a name that read : Xavier Carson? "No one works here with that name though?" "These folders are outdated probably a past employee. " "But my mom never mentioned her having a child ." Tash leaned over I'm going to find out what she's about. "I'm still pregnant, she's seeking your mom for help and now she's a mother. It's a coincidence."
