"Ikebashi, I want you to meet my little sister, Kassi," Amika said holding onto her arm. Ikebashi looked at her before nodding, though his face looked a bit confused."I thought you were the youngest in our class Amika....?" He asked making Kassi subtly scowl. He didn't even bother introducing himself to her, basically ignoring her completely.
"Well, yeah, she is older than me, and we're not related, but I still see her as my adorable little sister." She smiled and pulled Kassi into a hug making her squirm and try to pull away.
"Amy! Let go!" She yelled but Amika only giggled and let go after a minute.
"Amy? Nice nickname, can I call you it?" He asked and immediately she froze and Kassi quickly glared at him.
"No. Only I can call her that, she's my big sister not yours." She stated dully, and Amika smiled widely.
"Gosh! You can be so cute sometimes!" Amika squeezed her again this time making the girl squeal.
"Amika, I'm getting tired of this!" She yelled before forcefully pushing her away. Amika flew away a bit only to be caught by Ikebashi.
"Hey, what the heck! She could've gotten hurt." He yelled and she stared at him.
"Thank you Ikebashi, but you don't have to worry. I guess I've reached my limit of a certain amount of hugs per day." Amika chuckled before stepping away from him and sitting in an empty seat in the classroom they were assigned to wait for their new sensei in. Ikebashi glared at Kassi before walking over and taking the seat next to Amika and started to talk with her. The shorter girl turned away and rolled her eyes.
She didn't want anything to do with him before, and now this 'first impression' makes her not even want him to be around Amika either. He obviously is just gonna get in the way of their relationship and work dynamic. They know each other like the back of their own hands and work together as if they can read each other's minds, he won't be anything but a distraction.
After a few more minutes there was a knock on the door making them all turn in that direction. A white-haired young man came into the room and smiled.
"You guys must be team 14, my name is Kimo Chiyosha, I'll be your new sensei." He introduced himself and then looked at each of them.
"Interesting. 2 girls and 1 guy, those teams are always the most fun." He chuckled. "Why don't you tell me your names?" He asked.
"Uh, my name is Amika Matafumi, nice to meet you Kimo-sensei."
"I'm Ikebashi Ryumei, Kimo-sensei."
"I'm Kassi Himehori, hello Kimo-sensei."
Kimo looked intently at her and Ikebashi, before glancing at Amika and nodding.
'The Ryumei, Himehori, and Matafumi clans altogether. The Hokage must really trust my abilities.'
"Okay, let's all sit here for a bit. I want us to get to know each other since we'll be a squad now." He smiled before sitting right in his spot against the door. Both Ikebashi and Amika were already sitting so then they all turned to Kassi, and she sat in her spot against the wall.
"Okay, I'll go first. I'm Kimo Chiyosha, 19 years old, I really love relaxing at home and I have a special bond with wolves and dogs. I don't like overworking myself or others, and I hate challenges. I hope that I can learn everything I'm capable of by being your sensei. Okay, who's next."
It was quiet for a minute and Amika rolled her eyes before taking her turn. "I'm Amika Matafumi, I'm 12, and I like reading and learning about almost anything. I happen to be a good observer and a fast learner. I don't like too many distractions especially when I'm focused, and my hope is for my baby sister to be great someday and when she is I want to be right by her side." She spoke sincerely and then turned to smile at her little sister making her blush but she couldn't help but smile back at her.
