Prologue: Team 14 (Part 2)

"Come on, let's catch up to him. I wanna get to know him." Amika said trying to pull her little sister to follow Ikebashi. He was one of the first kids out of the room.

Kassi just shook her head. That was not something she wanted to do. "Nah, you go ahead, I think I'll go say hi to Naruto, maybe have lunch with him." She said and Amika looked confused for a moment.

"We always have lunch together....." Before Kassi could even come up with an excuse Amika continued, "Though I guess it would be good for you to try and get to know him. Well, if you need anything, come find me." She said before going after Ikebashi making the shorter girl sigh in relief. She debated on just having lunch alone but she hated that idea so she decided to go look for Naruto after all.

It wasn't hard too hard to find him but the problem was he looked busy. Kassi walked up to him and tapped his shoulder but he panicked and quickly threw her over his shoulder.

"You won't get me that easy Sasuke- Wait! Kassi!" He yelled in surprise. At his outburst of her name majority of the class turned to see Kassi on the ground on her back with a shocked and slightly pained face with Naruto standing over her.

"NARUTO!!!" Kassi was pretty sure the entire ground shook with all the yells she heard and almost everyone was glaring at him and ready to attack. She quickly got up and came up with her best plan to save him.

"Wait everyone, it's fine. I just accidentally scared him and he was defending himself. Nice reflexes Naruto, next time I'll be more careful." She said in her innocent and quiet voice that always worked, this time was no different. There were still some grumbles but no one bothered him.

Naruto chuckled and scratched his neck, "Ah, I'm sorry Kassi, I didn't know it was you." He said and she could hear the guilt in his voice but she only waved him off.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to have lunch together?" She asked simply and they both could hear more mumbles of confusion behind them but she rolled her eyes and focused on Naruto. He was blushing and looked pretty excited before he made a face as he looked behind her.

"I-I'm so sorry Kassi but I'm pretty busy at the moment!" He yelled before running off leaving her standing there. She looked behind her back and saw Sasuke glaring at Naruto running away, she then sighed. Guess that meant she was having lunch alone.

"Hey Kassi! Wanna have lunch with us?" The short girl turned and saw Ino calling out to her with Shikamaru and Choji next to her. She shivered as she thought about having to socialize without Amika. She didn't really have another choice though, she didn't wanna eat alone and she definitely was not going with Amika to meet Ikebashi. She slowly nodded before walking over.

"I can't believe Naruto blew you off like that! Why would you ask him of all people to eat lunch with." Ino asked and Kassi looked at the ground annoyed. 'Is she really gonna bash him for not having lunch with me?' She questioned before looking over to where she knew Amika is.

"Well, he's my friend and I wanted to know if he wanted to have lunch with me." She said quietly and Ino looked completely shocked.

"You're friends with Naruto!" She yelled and Shikamaru sighed before covering his ears.

"Give us a warning before yelling like that." He said dully but Ino waved him off.

"Shush Shikamaru! When did this happen!" She asked and Kassi sighed.

"A few days ago. Amy and I asked him if he wanted to be our friends. He said yes, so now we're friends." She said simply but Ino still looked shocked.

"Why is it so hard to believe that Kassi and Naruto are friends?" Choji asked and she nodded but Ino shook her head intensely.

"Naruto is a guy like him and Kassi is a girl like her, how are they friends? It just doesn't make sense!" Ino exclaimed and Kassi was just about to say something when Amika came over and hugged on her back.

"Kassi, you said you were gonna have lunch with Naruto, imagine my surprise when I saw you here with 3 new friends!" Amika exclaimed happily while she tried to shake her off.

"That's not what happened! Naruto turned me down and they offered." She said before mumbling, "Besides they aren't my friends."

Amika squinted before hitting her on the back of the head. "Gah!" She yelled but Amika ignored her and turned to Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru, making Kassi pout but stay quiet.

"Don't mind my little sister, sometimes she gets like that when she's upset. Did any of you upset her, accidentally maybe?" Amika asked and both Choji and Shikamaru pointed at Ino.

"What! All I said was I don't understand how you both can be friends with Naruto, especially since he's the way that he is." She yelled and Amika blinked but Kassi nudged her and gave her an 'I told you so' look.

"Well, no wonder she's upset, you're talking bad about our friend. It doesn't matter how we're friends we just are. You don't just disrespect people's friends in front of them." She said before standing and pulling her little sister up with her.

"W-Wait! I was just confused, especially after he flipped you over. You weren't even upset about it." Ino said and Kassi gulped when Amika stared her down.

"Naruto did what?" She asked and the short girl quickly looked away.

"Amy, it was an accident." She added quickly but Amika glared at her before stalking off to find Naruto. She turned back to the 3 teammates and stared, "You basically just sent Naruto to his grave. I hope you're happy." She stated before going after her angry big sister.

"I didn't know they were sisters." Choji said but Shikamaru just shrugged before laying back, only to flinch when Ino let out a high pitched, "What!"
