"Why does this stupid station play nothing but reruns?"

Looking up from her intense conversation with Ottie, Marigold looked towards the television that insisted on playing old-timey shows from the 1975 era. So far, Jax has tried to explain it to the man three times but to no avail.

"Don't even bother trying to explain."

Sara, who finally stopped her pacing, finally spoke after having enough of just sitting around doing nothing.

"Am I the only one on this ship who could really use a drink?" Marigold swiftly held her stuffed companion closer to her chest, already knowing that the bear would do anything to get some bourbon in his system. "I say we go get weird in the '70s."

"Excellent idea." Snart turned in his seat at Sara's suggestion. Jax and Mick were down with the idea, pining to leave the ship for some fun.

Marigold stayed in her spot for a bit, having a discussion with Ottie before shaking her head and leaving with the others. Only the words drunk bear and antagonize were heard before it ended.

Mick suddenly had a thought that if he were able to get the fucked up bear drunk, it would actually do something. Only one way of knowing that for sure.

"Perhaps Captain Hunter was unclear with his instructions to remain onboard." The freaky A.I. system spoke, her voice almost startling a non-suspecting Mari.

"Shut it, metal mouth."

"Oh, you're not quite ready to run with this crew." Snart turned his attention towards Jax. Mari only continued to follow behind the leading lady, not quite caring about what was going on behind her. "Sorry kid."

"Wait, you're just gonna leave me here but take her instead?" He pointed an accusing finger at the blonde girl with tattered clothes and a worse for wear bear. Out of what he knew so far, nobody knows anything about her; maybe except for Rip. He had more than enough questions about Mari.

"I said I'd take care of you. Also, this girl has probably seen more fucked up shit than you can possibly believe." Lowering his voice to a whisper the guys watched as Sara and Mari indulged themselves in conversation. "I mean, she's talking to a stuffed bear for Pete's sake. What more do you want?"

"Are you guys coming or what?" Sara shouted from down the hall. The criminal tag-team waved to Jax as they left the ship, preparing to get drunk off their asses.

-_-

"Ah, dollar beers. You gotta love the '70's." Mick brought over four bottles of beer, handing them to each of the untrustworthy legends. "Who wants to listen to some Captain and Tennille?"

Sara had changed into her white canary outfit before leaving, wanting to finally try on the little number in a place that most likely wouldn't remember it. She briefly commented on Mari's clothes, saying that if ever needed, she could spare some outfits for the girl.

Mari would never admit it - Ottie definitely would - but she just may have found someone who wasn't scared of her. It was exciting, being liked by people for once in her life. Even if this whole legend thing is just a bust, she's gonna be remembering this when she goes back to killing people for fun.

"My mother played it. A lot." With that, the man walked off after a long sip of his drink.

Mari found a vacant seat and sat Ottie onto the table in front of her. After realizing that they were in the '70s and many of his favorite drinks wouldn't exist just yet, the bear decided to just say fuck it and try out something new.

I'm bored. There's nothing to do here but get drunk and dance. Booooring.

Mari looked around, taking in the scene of drunk bastards all around. Ottie was halfway there himself, bottles after bottles of alcohol disappearing without a trace.
