It took me four days to gain the confidence to ask her out and when I finally do, she doesn’t say anything.
She just stared at me.
I definitely waited too long. She hates me and I screwed up everything
“Luke I……what?”
“So is that a no?”

“I just asked you out….you never really answered.”

“How is it even possible that you’re asking me out? You said just a few hours ago that you ‘had to think about things’ is this what you were thinking of? How to ask me out after four days of completely shutting me out? I only said fuck you because you made me think you hated me.” The corners of her mouth formed into a smile
“Well clearly I don’t if I want to go out with you”
“Then yes”
“Yes?”
“Yes I’ll go out with you”

“Jeez Mike you act like we just got engaged or something “I laugh putting my arm around Jaycee and walking out towards the gate where he was.
