when tae and seohyun finally came out of the kitchen all the boys looked up at them smirking until they saw their puffy eyes.

"everything okay?" namjoon asked and the two just nodded.

"yea everythings fine, now tell me what you all have planned for my birthday because if you dont have anything i'm finding new friends"

they all just laughed before jungkook spoke up "since you finally turned 21 we thought we would take you out for dinner tonight and get drinks"

"ooo fun" seohyun said excitedly.

"but before that we thought you could finally get your first tattoo" jimin said making seohyun freeze.

"what"

"come on you've been wanting a tattoo for years but everytime one of us offers to give you one you chicken out. plus now that you're 21 you can have a drink before so it doesnt hurt like a bitch" hoseok said.

seohyun stood there for a solid minute before nodding her head "okay i'll do it"

all the boys started cheering while getting up to put theres shoes on to leave seohyun and taehyungs shared apartment.

her and tae have lived together since seohyun was 18. jimin, seohyun, and tae became friends when taehyung moved in next to them when seohyun was 6.

tae knows everything about seohyun including all the things that have happened to her since he was there to help her through all of it.

once they all piled into seokjins car seohyun spoke up.

"i have one condition if i'm getting this tattoo"

"but you already agreed" jungkook said looking back at her.

"one condition" she repeated, so all the boys just nodded for her to continue.

"taehyung has to get it with me" she spoke.

"ooo couples tattoo" yoongi teased making everyone but tae and seohyun giggle.

seohyun blushed before shaking her head "no i want to get a special friendship tattoo, i've had the perfect one for almost a year saved in my phone"

"whats your idea" taehyung said making seohyun pull out her phone to show him the idea before handing him the phone.

he suddenly started to smile "i love it, lets do it"

once they reached their tattoo shop seohyun started to freak out, she has always been afraid of needles so getting a tattoo seems scary as hell to her.

its not the blood or the pain thats scary to her, she doesnt care about that. she doesn't know why shes so scared of them, she just is.

"hey, its gonna be fine. theyre gonna look great" jimin said as he walked up to her to pat her back comfortingly.

"were gonna put two tattoo beds next to each other that way you can be together getting them. and you know hold hands or some shit" yoongi said as he and hoseok pushed two beds together.

once they got the beds together they waved the two over to sit.

as soon as they sat down taehyung grabbed seohyuns hand to comfort her, giving her a soft smile.

"enough flirting, lets get started" yoongi said as he went to seohyuns side to start prepping her for the tattoo while jimin went to taehyungs.

"where do you want it?" yoongi asked seohyun. she then pointed to the area above her inner elbow "here"

"same for you, taehyung?" jimin asked to which he just nodded.

yoongi and jimin then started cleaning the area before putting the stencil on them.

once everything was prepped they dipped the tattoo guns into the ink.

"alright seohyun, you ready?" yoongi asked but before she could respond jin burst in the room

"stop! here" he said rather loudly before handing seohyun a shot making them all laugh.

seohyun then took the shot and relaxed in her seat "i'm ready"

"damn seohyun, the first time jungkook took a shot he nearly puked" hoseok said.

"hey! it was really bitter okay" jungkook tried defended himself only causing everyone to laugh.

"who said it was my first time? now lets go" seohyun responded before taking a deep breath to prepare herself.

yoongi and jimin then started to tattoo the two of them.

"oh, thats not nearly as bad as i was expecting" seohyun said after yoongi started.

"damn i expected to you curse up a storm or something. you're reacting better than jimin when he got his first tattoo" yoongi said while concentrating.

"im used to pain" seohyun said bluntly making everyone go quiet and taehyung squeeze her hand that he was still holding.

seohyun awkwardly laughed to try and lighten the mood "how about some music" she said to namjoon who stood up to turn the speaker on.

he came back with his phone to let seohyun choose whatever music she wanted, she ended up choosing insomnia by 'the rose'.

seohyun started to sing along to it. all the boys loved it when she sang, to them she had the most beautiful voice.

"i cant sleep, grab onto me

i know i'm stupid, but what can i do about that?
i have so many things i cant do

she continued to sing the song until the end, once it finished all the boys clapped for her except for taehyung and the ones tattooing them of course.

taehyung had to look up to the ceiling and blink away the tears that threatened to fall.

seohyun is the most special person in his life, knowing that she isnt happy deep down makes him feel like he's failing her.

"taehyung, you good?" jimin asked quietly so only taehyung could here.

"i will be once seohyun is"
