a couple weeks had passed since taehyung bought the engagement ring and he was currently at seohyuns mothers house with jimin, taehyung wanted to get her blessing but also needed help coming up with a plan on how to propose.

seohyun doesnt know where he's actually at of course, she thinks he and jimin went to daegu to visit an old friend. the boys hate lying to her but its for a very good reason.

when seohyuns mother came back with cookies taehyung finally spoke up about the reason they were there.

"thank you for the cookie mrs. park, me and jimin came today because i wanted to get your blessing to propose to seohyun"

mrs. parks face instantly lit up at that and she began to bounce on the couch while clapping her hands excitedly, tae and jimin just sat there laughing at her response.

"of course! of course you have my blessing! oh this is so exciting!" she said with way to much energy, but the boys didnt mind they just liked seeing her happy.

"thank you mrs. park" taehyung said happily bowing slightly in her direction.

"call me mom, you've been living here since you were 14 and you still call me mrs. park, you're to polite!" she said sweetly and taehyung just smiled.

"sorry... mom" he then said making her smile widen.

after being at their childhood home for a couple hours creating a plan on how taehyung was gonna propose the two boys finally left.

the ride home wasnt super long but when taehyung finally got home he went straight to the couch, completely wiped out.

"how was it?" seohyun asked coming over to sit next to taehyung. "it was fun, good catching up" taehyung said and seohyun nodded "im glad"

she gave him a quick kiss before getting up, "i just finished dinner so its still ho" she said bringing two bowls of tteokbokki over to the couch for both of them to eat.

they normally sat at the table but seohyun could tell how tired taehyung was so they made an excpetion. they turned on 'he is psychometric' as usual and began to eat their dinner.

it wasnt long after they finished their dinner that taehyung had to go upstairs before he fell asleep on the couch. he gave seohyun a kiss before heading up and going to bed.

seohyun on the other hand wasnt very tired so she stayed up for a little while watching tv. but when she finally got tired she joined taehyung to go to sleep.

a couple days later and it was finally the day that taehyung was proposing. he was shitting his pants.

the plan they ended up coming up with wasnt extremely fancy or anything, they were going for that but ultimately decided that something more creative would be better.

it was also the day of the couples 8 month anniversary, so today is pretty special.

it was already almost time for the two to leave for dinner and taehyung was checking how his suit looks one last time.

"come on babe you look good" seohyun said, who was wearing a tight black dress.

"ok ok im coming" taehyung said before going to meet seohyun at the door and leaving.

the car ride was very short, they got there in around 5 minutes. the restruant was right near the place taehyung decorated for the proposal so it was pretty perfect.

taehyung opened the door for her of course, helping her out of the car. he then took her hand before leading her into the expensive looking restruant.

"kim taehyung" tae said as soon as a women greeted the couple, the women just nodded before leading them to their table.

taehyung had requested that the table be put in a more secluded area, explaining it was a special day. the restruant was very nice and agreed to place them in a quiet area making taehyung happy because everything was going his way.

when they were seated taehyung and seohyun both ordered their drinks before the waitress left.

taehyung turned to seohyun and sent her a smile, taking one of her hands over the table.

"i love you" he said sweetly "taetae~ i love you too" seohyun said back equally as sweetly.

the dinner then went on as normal the two of them talking about random things while they ate.

but now that it was time to leave taehyung was starting to feel all the pressure from what hes about to do. though he hid it from seohyun so she wont suspect anything.

"i'm taking you to another place" taehyung spoke up after they got back into the car. "where?" seohyun asked and taehyung shook his head "you'll see"

when they got to the place taehyung blind folded seohyun after helping her out of the car. "tae, is this really necessary" seohyun said making taehyung chuckle "yes it is"

"its not far dont worry" he said so that she wouldnt get nervous. "well were in the woods what if i trip on a sti-" "seohyun, i have you" taehyung said interrupting her.

she just nodded before they quietly walked, the only sound being the leaves under their feet.

"okay, were here" taehyung said as he took seohyuns blind fold off.

when she opened her eyes she was met with some of the trees decorated with fairy lights and other types of lights making her gasp in amazement "taehyung, this is beautiful!"

"youre whats beautiful seo" taehyung said stepping so that he was in front of seohyun.

he stood there looking at seohyun and was instantly reassured. not nervous anymore, he began his speech.

"seohyun, ever since we were kids you have given me a reason to live. if i didnt have you, i wouldnt be here right now. you have inspired me so much with your strength. through everything you've been through you somehow have never quit putting others first. you have never stopped loving me and i swear to you that i will never stop loving you. you are my best friend in the entire world, i really am the luckiest man to have been able to meet you and get close to you. and now you're my girlfriend, i never thought that would happen. i was always to scared to show you my real feelings so for years i held back. now were actually together, boyfriend and girlfriend, but what would be even better than that is if-" taehyung stopped his speech to pull the ring box out of his pocket and get on one knee, seohyun currently unable to stopped the tears flowing down her cheeks and the smile planted on her face "-you would be my wife. so what do you say, will you marry me seohyun?" taehyung finished his speech and seohyun instantly put her left hand out "of course ill marry you" she said as taehyung slid the ring on her finger.

when taheyung stood up he instantly pulled her into a kiss. when they pulled away seohyun had the biggest smile "i love you so much, fiancé" seohyun said looking down at her ring.

"i love you more, fiancée" taehyung said and seohyun shook her head "not possible"

"oh but it is, i'm doing it right now" taehyung shot back and seohyun just pulled him into another kiss.
