seohyun had her alarm set for 8 am on june 17, making sure shes up a couple hours before taehyung. today has been a really hard day for taehyung for the past 8 years.

seohyun has made it her mission each year to do everything she can to help taehyung get through it.

when taehyung was 14 his dad got drunk like he always did and abused taehyung, also like he always did. but that certain time taehyung ended up passing out, so he was unable to protect his mom.

taehyungs dad ended up beating his mom to the extreme, taehyung waking up later that day in a hospital with people telling him his father was in jail and his mother was dead.

since he had no parents seohyun and jimins mom took him in to live with them until taehyung and seohyun finally moved in together when they were 18.

seohyun understands what its like the live with so much pain, she knows she cant just try and cheer taehyung up. people need to feel things not shove them deep inside. she just wants to help taehyung through it the best she can.

so she gets to working on taehyung breakfast. she knows he's not gonna want to eat a lot so she makes a very small meal made up of comfort food.

one slice of french toast, bacon, and strawberries. with some tae since she knows he doesnt like coffee. (i literally wrote tae instead of tea but i'm leaving it)

after she finishes with his breakfast she heads upstairs to see if taehyung is awake yet. seeing that he was still asleep she decided to take a quick shower, putting tae's food in the microwave to keep it warm.

once she steps into the bathroom she undresses and gets in the already warmed up water.

she first washes her face, when done with that she turns around to get her shampoo and see's the blade she used last week under the bottle.

she stares at it for a while before shaking her head you have to help taehyung today, no time to make it about you like always.

her thoughts start becoming darker so she quickly forgets about washing her hair and just washes her body as fast as she can before stumbling out of the shower, tripping as she does so making her cry out in pain.

she begins to cry, not being able to control it so she slaps a hand over her mouth to silence her sobs.

she gets up off the floor, her body already half dry and grabs a towel to finish drying off. she then puts on her outfit for the day on, just sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

once she's finally finished she peaks through taehyung bedroom door to see him awake, just laying there hugging a pillow while he stares at the wall.

her heart breaks a little at the sight before turning aroung to get his food from the microwave, putting the strawberries back on the plate and taking it up to his room.

she softly knocks on the door before going in and placing the plate on his bedside table.

"hey taehyungie" she says softly, squatting down in front of his face to give him a soft smile.

"i brought you some breakfast but dont worry its not a lot" seohyun says taking the plate in her hands getting a peice of bacon to try and feed him.

when she brings it up to his mouth he takes a very small bite, after swallowing he speaks up.

"thank you, seohyu- have you been crying?" he says before sitting up in his bed. seohyun shakes her head about to deny that she had been in fact crying.

"i know you seohyun, come on" he said before she could speak, patting the bed beside him motioning for her to sit beside him.

after she climbed in the bed beside him he scooted closer to her "just because today is hard for me doesnt mean you should shove your feelings down for my sake" taehyung said sweetly making seohyun lower her head.

"now tell me what happened"

"i just- after making your breakfast i decided to take a shower since you were still a-asleep but when i went to wash my hair my- my b-blade was um under the b-bottle" seohyun spoke, sounding completely broken.

"come here" taehyung said laying down, holding his arm up for seohyun to curl into him. she layed down facing him while he put his around her to pull her closer.

"were g-gonna be o-okay" taehyung said trying his best not to break, failing when the tears overflowed streaming down his cheeks.

"taetae" seohyun said softly wiping his tears though they didnt stop coming, causing hers to overflow as well.

"i love you taehyungie" she said softly closing her eyes.

"i love you more p-princess" he responded before closing his eyes as well, the two crying themselves to sleep together.

when taehyung woke up he found seohyun already awake staring at her hands that were on his chest.

"hey" he spoke making her look up quickly.

"hi" she said quietly. "wanna go watch a drama?" taehyung asked her to which she just nodded.

they both got up and walked down to the living room, sitting down on the couch while taehyung picks a show.

he ended up picking 'he is psychometric' since seohyun got really into it when he was watching it on her birthday. taehyung scooted himself closer to seohyun so that they're right up next to eachother.

after watching an episode and a half they fell asleep on the couch, subconsciously cuddling closer to each other.

they had been asleep for about 2 hours when jimin showed up, using his key that seohyun gave him to get in.

when he walked inside he saw the two of them sleeping on the couch holding each other making him smile, taking out his phone to take a picture.

after taking the picture he quietly went to the kitchen to start making them dinner.

jimin knows all about the troubles taehyung went through, him, seohyun, and taehyung have always been really close so jimin also does everything he can to help taehyung.

though jimin knows that seohyun and taehyungs bond is closer because they've been through a lot and were there for each other to lean on. sure jimin went through some pretty bad stuff alongside seohyun but it couldnt compare to the trauma she endured. (not that it should be compared)

jimin made bibimbap for the two along with some kimchi his mother had sent him, knowing what today is.

after he finished putting all the food on the dining table jimin left quietly, sending a text to seohyun for her to see when she wakes up.

it was only about 15 minutes after jimin left that tae and seohyun woke up. realizing they were holding each other so close they both blushed, not knowing why considering they cuddle a lot.

after they both got adjusted to being awake seohyun grabbed her phone to see if she had any notifications, seeing jimin's text she smiled.

"get up, jimin made food for us" seohyun said standing up to walk to the kitchen, taking a seat at the dining table.

taehyung sat in the seat right beside her and began to eat slowly but it still made seohyun smile seeing that he was finally getting some food considering breakfast was a fail.

after a while they finished the food, both of them sending jimin a thank you text.

"oh wow its already 7" taehyung spoke up, seohyun just hummed in response.

"do you want to go watch a movie in your bed?" seohyun asked taehyung, him instantly nodding with a quiet yes before following her upstairs to his room.

they both got cozy under his covers turning on a random movie on netflix. it ended pretty much the same as always, them both falling asleep in each others arms. neither of them minded though, enjoying the feeling of being close to each other and protected.
