I walked back through the doors of the history room, and I knew that today we would be learning about the Great Elf Tragedy. This was the very event that made elves so... nefarious. I walked over to my seat, and sat down. After Dian and the rest of the class arrived, Mr. Gaven called role.

After he finished role call, and I had weakly replied "here!" The lack of good sleep from my nightmare was starting to take effect. We started the lesson, and I tried my best not to fall asleep.

"Long ago, when the elves were roaming the lands, there was peace in the world. However, the elves were not content with their amount of land and control. They decided to wage a war on the rest of the beings, believing they could defeat all with their powers. Their powers varied on which wings they had. The color of their wings varied on what kind of soul you have. They had white wings if they had no hate. The white wings were very rare, however, since almost all elves were set on destroying the other kingdoms. They had green wings if they loved the earth. They had ochre wings if they focus on love, however they didn't always have love. It is said that they all had silver wings, since that symbolizes a fighter. At least, that was the wing color of all the elves seen on the war day. Elves had sea foam wings if they loved the sea, rainbow wings if they were artistic, gold wings if they had no special interest, and finally, they have red wings if they were evil and filled with hate. There were many sightings of elves with red wings, like the king. Most elves had either white or brown hair, and they all had green eyes. At least, that's what we believe. Just remember, that just because your friend has green eyes, doesn't mean they are an elf. I don't want any hate crimes against someone that isn't even an elf. Anyways, their powers consisted of great healing and strength abilities. There were even rumors of elves who could successfully communicate with animals. This theory is unproved. Scientists say that there is only one family that they haven't managed to track left out here in our community. They can easily disguise themselves as any creature, but they most commonly hide as humans. If you see a Humanlike creature with pointed ears, call security immediately so we can detain it. Elves are extremely dangerous, and they will most likely kill on sight. Do not forget this lesson, for it could be the key to your survival."

Well, I know who not to go to when I feel like letting some things off my chest. Mr. Gaven is obviously very against elves and the very idea of them. Making a silent mental note of his aggression, I averted my gaze back to the chalkboard and Mr. Gaven. "Please send me a small one page report on this lesson by nets class, and any credible information you may find. Thank you, and you are dismissed."

Sorry for this one being so short, but I thought the importance to the storyline would make up for it. Also, 50 reads? AWESOME!! Love y'all~
