Monday, 7:45 AM, School Hallway:

Robert's POV: Home room was over, and it was forty-five minutes until the first class of the day started. Mine was algebra, and I took algebra in the seventh grade classroom, so I decided to go chat with my two new friends on the side wall of the hall, before I had to get my school supplies in my backpack together, and they had to go to their classes.

I spotted them, and shuffled over across the hall, to stand next to them against the wall. Once I made it over next to both of them, I quietly remarked, "What a weekend! Am I right?" over in their direction.

"Tell me about it! Someone couldn't stop raving about how cool a certain HQ was." Bella replied with a friendly smirk.

Then Bruce glared at her playfully and commented, "Yeah, but it's not like it was an exaggeration, it was pretty cool. A lot cooler than studying nuclear particles and physics or whatever in science."

I chuckled softly and quietly to myself, and then answered, "That could be true, but I think you should give science a chance, maybe you can see it from a different perspective."

Then Bella jumped in too, responding teasingly, "Yeah, I think science can actually be pretty cool sometimes! Maybe you could try to turn over a new leaf?"

"I'd rather not, my favorite subject in school is either PE or lunch for a reason. And if you don't mind scootching a little, I gotta get to History." Bruce said plainly before dashing between us and away to his first class.

As he faded slightly out of sight, Bella remarked across the hall, "I told you, those aren't real subjects!"

"And I told you I don't really care." Bruce pokes his head around the corner of the wall and replied lastly.

And Bella calmly commented, "Whatever Bro, you do you. And sorry Rob, but I've got to get to ELA myself."

"Okay, bye Bella! You gonna sign up for drama club?" I shouted back at her, friendly nonetheless.

But she was gone. I'd just have to ask her at lunch, and I'd find some way to sneak into the seventh grade cafeteria, or at least get a hall pass. But for now, I jumped up from my spot on the wall, and began to rush to my first class. I had to make it to algebra on time, and preferably fairly early, cuz I had a honorable, intellectual, and punctual reputation to keep! Thankfully I made it on time, and algebra was fairly agreeable with me, with no surprise quizzes in the peaceful classroom.

Monday, 12:00 PM, Sixth Grade School Cafeteria:

I traveled down the cafeteria lunch-line as usual, only picking out a few things, since my mom packed my lunch and I wasn't normally overtly hungry. On top of my curry, Oreos, and peanut butter crackers, I grabbed a fun size bag of Cheetos, and a Capri sun to go with my water bottle from home. I took my lunch tray over to my usual table, and sat down next to my friend, Michelangelo, as he stuffed a bit of pepperoni pizza into his mouth.

I inquired softly into his ear, "Do you mind if I go to the Seventh Grade cafeteria? I have some new friends that I wanna meet there, and I kind of always sit with you...."

"No, I don't care, as long as you trade me your Oreos for my Chip's Ahoy first like always." He replied after finishing his bite first, with a playful wink.

I sighed and responded friendlily, "Okay, thanks," and handed him the Oreos as he slid his pack of Chip's Ahoy across the lunch table.
