Bella's POV: I was very curious to discover what all the brand new Batcave had to desire, so we all decided to explore it, and see what treasures we could uncover. Plus, it was kinda dark, so we'd need to find a light switch at some point so we could see our hands in front of our faces!
The three of us tried our best to navigate around so we could find some sort of storage closet, which would probably contain a flashlight or two. Once we made it to some sort of button, switch, control panel? Or whatever in the world it was, I fandangled my hands around it, and accidentally pressed something. Oops....
Chk....chk....chk....chhh....putt....cshhhh.... The mechanics sputtered. I still had absolutely no idea what this thing even was, though I was about 99.99999% sure it was somewhat mechanical. Something seemed to be sliding, open? At least I hope so, it was very degrading wandering around with no idea where anything was located or where you were supposed to go.
Apparently it was another one of the futuristic sliding doors, as I recognized the same sound, and Bruce was aware of the shape filling out the dimly lit area around the control panel, which seemed to be situated a little be to the left of the door, mounted sturdily on the cold stone wall.
I felt around the wall that the control panel was mounted on a little, and realized that there was a light switch! Right in front of our faces! Though it was in the pitch black darkness, fair enough. Flick! There we go, sweet sweet sunshiny light. Though it is a little stinging to our eyes at first, even though we never fully adjusted to the shadows either.
"Phew, about time! I was getting bored of being totally lost in the eminent darkness." Bruce remarked playfully.
"Me too, and I was sure there wasn't even one blasted light switch in this whole entire place!" I replied, and proceeded to sigh audibly, not in disgust, but in exhaustion.
"Sowhadoyouguysthink'sbeyondthatdoor?" Robert yammered out, completely run together, almost sounding like one whole amalgamation word.
"Can you maybe repeat that?" Bruce asked, with a questioning look painted across his freckled face.
Then Robert softly muttered back, "Hmm?"
"Whatever you said, it made no sense whatsoever." Bruce stated plainly.
And then I commented in agreement, "Yeah, I agree with Bruce, it kinda sounded like alien jibber jabber to me."
"Oh, uh, sorry, I must have gotten ahead of myself. Hehe...." Robert replied apologetically.
"No problem, but what were you actually saying?" I asked friendlily.
"I just asked what you think might be behind that door," He answered simply.
"Oh, well, I don't know! What do you think Bruce?" I energetically responded.
Afterwards, Bruce took a breath, and replied, "I don't know, but I hope it's something useful, or at least something cool!"
