Allay Thy Ecstasy

Chapter 6

JADEN'S POV

I ordered a Bentley to wait for me at the underground parking lot. Well everyone has their secret identities. And mine is not really known, and I am really happy about that. And Josh doesn't ask about it.

I was wearing my favourite tuxedo, took my phone in case my father calls again, took my wallet and went out of the apartment leaving it open for my staff.

I checked the time on my wristwatch and it was already six thirty, and I didn't tell Jane what time I was going to pick her up at her apartment. I was a little nervous hoping that I will not ruin this date.

I entered the elevator and I was greeted by elevator music, I groaned at the thought of listening to it, I wanted to take the stairs but it will just take a lot of my time. I wanted to arrive at Jane's apartment at seven sharp.

Finally the elevator reached my destination. I quickly got out, I looked around and saw one of my employees standing a table we set for them because he works down here, so its better to put a table than put nothing.

"Good morning sir." Gerald greeted.

"Yes." I nodded, "Where's my car?"

"Its coming sir." He said as his eyes roamed around.

"How was your first date like Gerald?"

"Well sir, it was nerve racking but I managed to get through it." He answered giving me an assured smile.

I nodded and passed a little smile.

Finally my car came, Gerald insisted on opening the door for me but I just smiled at him to not do it.

I had second thoughts about should I drive Jane and I or should someone drive us. As much I want to spent time with Jane, it would be better to drive myself.

"Are you okay sir?" Gerald asked.

I nodded at him and told the driver that I will drive he can take a break. The smell of the leather seats welcomed me. I felt relaxed all of a sudden. My nervousness was gone now.

It took me 20 minutes to arrive at Jane's apartment building. It was six fifty five, so I have five minutes to go and knock at Jane's door.

Entering the elevator and pressing the button to where Jane's apartment was, it closed. My heart started to pound a little. Taking a deep breath, finally the elevator came to a stop.

Walking slowly to Jane's apartment door, I knock. My heart pounded a little bit fast than usual. Deciding to go back home, the door opened.

JANE'S POV

I was wearing a gold sequin one sleeve dress with my stilettos which were black, I felt comfortable in the dress.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I saw that my hair was in a bad state.

Finally I fixed my hair. Put on some lip gloss, made my final touch ups on my make up and put on some lady perfume, I was ready to go.

To my surprise, as I was about to exit my room, I heard noise coming from downstairs. I heard a familiar voice and it registered in my mind and it told me that it was Jaden. My heart somehow pounded a little bit faster.

What the heck?

Taking deep breaths, I finally calmed myself down. Descending the stairs the was a bit of silence all eyes were on me. I felt my cheeks flaming up and I averted my eyes to the floor.

I heard small footsteps walking up to me, I lifted my face to see who was coming towards me, and I saw it was Jaden.

He was looking really gorgeous in his suit, his muscles were giving the suit its shape, I could even see his chest shaping the suit as well and his cologne was hypnotising me, damn that's a man right there.

His left hand lifted up to my cheeks I wanted to move but his scent was holding me back like a magnet. Finally his hand touched my cheek, the warmth it gave me could never be explained. I closed my eyes to let it flow through me.

His thumb was rubbing against my cheek. Suddenly there was a hit of cold air and loneliness came back to my cheek.

Opening my eyes I see how close we were standing. Looking up slowly at him, his brown eyes were filled with nothing but ecstasy.

"You look amazing Jane!" Lilly shouted behind Jaden. And we distanced, a wave of sadness flushed inside me.

"Thank you Lilly." I passed her a huge smile.

Silence.

"Well are you two going to act like you are not going on a date or what?" Lilly said breaking the silence between us.

I saw Jaden motion to the door, he stopped for a second and he opened it. Looking back at me with eyes telling me that "I'm waiting for you" I hugged Lilly and motioned to the door. Nodding thanks to Jaden is exited and waited for him outside.

We walked to the elevator in silence, comforting yet not acceptable. We entered the elevator and his cologne, I moved closer to him hoping that he won't notice.

"Love my scent?" He said and looked down at me with a smirk.

"I..uh... I was trying to balance myself from falling." I said.

"Well," he paused, "If you say so." He smiled.

I felt so embarrassed right now. I hope this memory will be deleted forever.

"After you." He said after the elevator opened.

I smiled then exited. The butler opened the door for us and we thanked him. Looking around I saw a nice black 4 door sedan Bentley. I was roaming around to see what Jaden and I were going with to our date.

"Let's go, our car is awaiting." He said.

"Where?" I asked, maybe it parked on the other side of the road?

I gesture for me to follow him. I saw seem walking to the Bentley, and opened the passenger seat. I stood there. Not because I doubted him, but because I was surprised about what he drives. Usually he comes in a Ford Figo.

I stepped inside and I made myself comfortable. The leather seats were so comfortable causing me to yawn.

He closed the door and came around to the driver seat. He looked at me and said, "You look amazing Jane."

Just that one statement he said brought butterflies in my stomach.
He started the engine and we were on our journey to God knows where.
