"Ladies, it's you girl Aya and this is my first blog and in the discussion today I wanna know what's your typical Saturday night? Kids doesn't have school and you're off tomorrow. Is it a romantic date night without the kids or is it more family oriented? Dinner cooked together as a family followed by a little bit of board game action? Oh, yes either two is fine with me being that that's all I'm allowed to do anymore. I have no friends so I can't do a girls night out, my husband wouldn't allow that.

Don't get me wrong, I love time with my kids but a change of events, change of scenery, something different you know? This weekend, they're in Florida with my parents. My parents Patricia and Troy doesn't live here in Georgia anymore because of my decision to stay with a man that beats me. And instead of me leaving, I remembered my vows " for better or worse". God knows I've prayed for better days but seemingly only getting the worst.

I sent my kids to my parents' this weekend in case you were wondering what movie and board game we'd be playing tonight. It's 8 o'clock on a Saturday and my husband is out else where, doing whatever he likes to whoever he likes... then going to bring his drunk attitude to me. There was a point in life where it seemed that this man, my husband Daniel, worshiped the ground I walked on. We met back when I came to Florida with my girlfriends after graduating high school in 2000 and I've been with him every since.

I don't know what other information you guys would like to know from me but comment below or private message me and I'll make weekly blogs updating my life and meeting new friends being that I can't actually have friends. Until my next post, Bye.

I ended my blog just in time for dinner. My niece knocked on my office door and said kindly to me "Dinner is ready" would you be eating on the balcony tonight?"

" Kathryn, thank you honey. I'm Aunty Aya, or just Aya. Your mom was my sister and best friend. I wanted to come visit you guys before she passed but traveling was never okay without Daniel following my every move. I cried and begged, even ran away before he caught me in the driveway and slapped me to the cement pavement in front of your little cousins, Kayla & Kayden. You might remember them, they'll be back on Sunday. Their with they're grandparents this weekend."

My niece, Kathryn, interrupted my speech. "They're with your dad, right? You and mom had different dad's?

"You're right, Kat? If you don't mind me calling you that? I know only your mom called you that.

Kathryn looked at me with huge eyes, she smiled through her tears. Yes Aunty, Aya. It's perfectly fine. Can I have my dinner with you tonight? I don't want to be alone. I haven't heard my nickname since mama died and I wanna continue catching up. You can finish the story of Daniel and you another time. I don't want him to walk in and catch us talking about him.

I smiled. "I'd be honored if you'd have dinner with me and tomorrow we can go shopping or anything you'd like to do after church. We both laughed and began to eat our dinner.
