Pain

With what had happened
You still smile as though you're happy

Through this process
There was so much progress

You thought she was the one
But now she's gone

Though I'm here
You never seem to hear
The words I say
Each and everyday

You're still hung up on her
And it starts to hurt

Through this pain
I still love you the same

As my love gains
I still cry with pain
That you don't see me
Even as you're with me

Though you say you don't miss her
You still wish you were with her

Even as you say you love me
You wish you could say it to her

She has moved on
But you don't want to go on

But my love is here for you to refrain
From all of this aching pain
