I'd already given a get well gift to Arietis, along with tickets to her favorite singer and chocolates. But today I was visiting Natsu..
"Hey, Lucy. Or should I say trouble." Natsu greeted me with a smile on his face. "You weren't hurt and what about the girl?" He continued as he raised his arm wrapped in bandages and beckons me closer.
"I'm fine, doctor said I had no burns and Arietis went home yesterday. She's tip top now."
"That's good to know, I was worried about you.. and her." His words were genuine.
"Thanks to you and your team everyone made it out safe and sound."
"Really? That's great!" Natsu sighs with relief and smiles.
"Aargh! It started to hurt again when I relaxed." He grimaces and squeezes his bandaged shoulder.
"Natsu!"
"No worries, it was just a few hard blows. One night of rest and I'll be back to work in no time." Still suffering, Natsu forces a smile. "You should probably get checked again tomorrow. It's really dangerous to breathe in to much smoke."
"Natsu.." despite his own injuries, Natsu only seems to care about me. 'You're to nice, Natsu.'

The next day..
Employees bustle about in the burned lab, cleaning and putting things back in order. I'm having a hard time focusing. I still have a lot of things to do, so I try to concentrate on my work when somebody calls the extension to the borrowed desk I'm sitting at. When I answer it's the director, Mr. Capricorn. He asks me to come to his office, saying that there's something we need to talk about.
I put my thesis aside and stand up from my seat. When I arrive at Mr. Capricorn's office, there's someone else waiting as well. It's the policeman, Jellal. 'He must be here to talk about yesterday?'
"I'm sure you're wondering why I've called you here. What we're going to be talking about might concern you."
"What do you mean?"
"I'll skip the small talk and straight to it." Judging by his Seriousness I don't think Jellal has good news. "Yesterday's Fire is most likely an arson."
"Wha- so someone set the fire!?"
"The security is strict, it's unlikely it was anyone from the outside." Mr. Capricorn says, his voice full of distress.
"In other words it hand to of been an employee.." Jellal nods, affirming what I said as correct. I believed that every one working here enjoyed their job and the other workers. So why.
"And the police suspect it wasn't a one-time incident. You were present at the residential fire and now here. But I don't suspect you." For a moment he looks as if he has to force himself to say what's next. "However, we cant overlook the fact that you were present at both. But it is possible someone's doing this to frame you."
"Your kidding?"
For a bit more we talk, he asks if anything strange has happened. I tell him about the odd guy at the one fire, how he'd showed up again one night, and how I've felt like I'm being followed. Jellal advised that they'll keep an eye on me.

The next day I take the afternoon off and go back to the hospital. But this time I'm not visiting Natsu. He's already back to work after only one day of rest, just like he said. I was getting another check up, like Natsu said I should do. My examination is over and I pay the bill. 'Everything is a ok!'
I head back home, I check my mail and there's a envelope with only my name in it. 'Hm, this looks like Levy's hand writing.' I open the letter and there's two tickets along with a note:
Dear Lucy,
On behave of bringing Gajeel his wallet the other day, he'd like you to have two invitations to a party after the next concert. A invitation for you and your PARTNER. Lol, ya know, hehe. Well hope to see you there!
Levy
In my hand I'm holding the two invitations. 'Partner!? Oh for the love of-' I don't know who I could invite. I place the invites in my bag and head to the cafe.
I take a seat at the counter, where a more then Happy kitty comes up purring and lays down in my lap. "Well hello there, Happy." I giggle lightly while stroking his back and in a low voice, "So who do you think would go with me, hmm?" I'm rubbing his chin when suddenly..
