The minute she walked into to art gallery she saw him, arms crossed , leaning against the pillar glancing around like he was trying to find someone. He stood out from all the others in the gallery, he was strikingly handsome, tousled blond hair that seemed gold under all the lights, eyes that were electric blue and a tinge of gold in it. He seemed so strange and aloof but somehow he was familiar too. Did I see him somewhere before?

At this exact moment his gaze turned to her, their eyes locked, startled he looked around with confusion written clearly on his face. He was trying to figure out what she was looking at, he was about to back away but it was too late she was already walking towards him with determined look on her face.

"Sorry I didn't mean to spook you." Her voice send shivers down his spine. He frowned and asked,"You can see me?" She looked him weirdly and answered,"Of course I can see you."

Disbelief coloured his face. How? How is this possible? Hope filled him, he couldn't face her right now with that thought he turned around and left, leaving behind a very confused and bewildered Clary.

Suddenly a vision of a place swam into her eyes, it looked like a club she took a closer look she could make out the words...Pandemonium? A memory flooded back to her.

She was waiting for her friends to get ready and go into the club out of nowhere a guy with blond hair and striking electric blue eyes bumped into her "Hey can you watch you're going?" "You can see me?" He looked shocked.

She was right about him being familiar she had seen him before and somehow she knew him too. She had to know why, with a goal in mind ran after him, hoping to find out some truth of what happened between them. The reason why when she slept she dreamt of places she had never been to a desert, winged creatures, and sometimes an angel with black wings.

"Hey!" But he wouldn't stop walking away. "Hey I am talking to you!" Reluctantly, he stopped walking his face full of pain and sorrow he had carried this past few months, he turned to face her.

A spark ignited in her, that chiseled cheekbone and the stubble over there she knew him now she was absolutely sure about it she could draw him in her sleep, another vision hit her.

He cupped her face gently, his stubble brushing her cheek lightly as he gave her a kiss briefly on her lips.

A blush coated her cheeks. With certainty she asked "Don't I know you...from somewhere?" He shook his head adamantly, "No I don't think so." She immediately interjected,"No I do I definitely do I..." She ran through her memories frantically trying to conjure up a name,"You're Jace...right?" His smile widened, they both laughed nervously.

When she said it he immediately lit up a hint of a smile on his face,"Yeah" She looked up at him questioningly," Yeah?" She couldn't help but grin back at him her heart lurching forward a little.

"Yeah uh..um..I'm Jace." They stared at each other stupidity for a moment at loss for words. "Um..um I'm Clary." His grin widened, they both  Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye she saw something peeking out of his shirt, "What are these tattoos on your neck?" He looked away upon hearing her question, she raised a hand and traced it.

Electricity sparkled between them, she felt it through her fingertips down her arm and spine. Visions, memories swirled flooded her, she could see flashes of her with him, she gazed back up at him. A look of understanding passed between then, his expression softened and his mouth curved into a small smile.

"Ho-how do you know my name?" Jace asked as reality set in.

"I think we need to talk."
