I looked over at Amy and she's still giving me the side-eye; I look over at Ari and she's smiling at Amy, I look over at my mother and she was giving Ari the side-eye. This isn't what I expected from family game night. Where did I lose control here?

The day started off alright, Ari had seemingly forgiven me for my idiocy and Amy had finally worked some things out with her mom to help with the whole 'best friend is a creature that shouldn't exist, even among creatures that shouldn't exist' situation. That was the highlight of my day actually.

Amy had just come over from her house, smiling ear to ear. "My mother o-officially thinks I'm a part of the church study group. T-The best part is that I didn't have to lie at all!" She jumped onto my bed and sat cross-legged. She shook the bed slightly, making me hold my laptop screen from shaking, "A-As long as I study something while I'm here and make sure she doesn't see me walk in here, I should be fine. This i-is the house of the angels, s-so no lying needed." She sighed happily and, in all honesty, she sounded like she was trying to convince herself more than she was trying to convince me.

"Well, I mean, not really. There aren't any angels here. Literally, everyone who is in this house, excluding you, is a demon in one way or another." I shrugged. "But we will be taking you to headquarters every now and then, for reasons I haven't really been told yet. So, that counts. I think?"

"It counts!" Amy said incredulous, her smile still there. "W-Why are you trying to make me feel bad?"

"Right now you're a beginning of Grease Sandy, and I'm kinda hoping for an end of Grease, leather pants, Sandy." I said, returning an equally ear to ear grin with my own mischievous flair.

"Oh, really?" She raised an eyebrow as she pushed my laptop closed. She proceeded to crawl over to me, her cheeks growing red as she straddled my lap.

See, me and my cast iron will, I bit my lip as I immediately turned lost my cool. I knew if I said anything I could ruin this, and this is something I did not want to end early. "Um..." Do not-- "I mean..." I swear to God, please don't--

Amy, the scent of her strawberry lip gloss invading my mind, her eyes wandering from my eyes to my lips as she whispered softly, "Jason, just s-shut up." She kissed me, her arms wrapping around my neck. It was so new to have this, but I know a feeling like this is something I never want to be without again. Soon she was pulling away, even though I didn't know how long that her lips were with mine, I know it was over way too soon. "Y-You think Sandy will kiss you like that?"

I looked into her eyes and decided there wasn't a set of words in the world that will answer her question. I grabbed the collar of her shirt and pulled her back down, taking back what she took when she pulled away. I kissed her hard enough to feel her teeth behind her lips. She yelped against my mouth and I couldn't help but smile. I let go of her and whispered, "No. I don't think I would want her to."

She brushed some of her loose hair out of her pretty brown eyes--

"Do I need to put a bell on you guys?"

Amy nearly jumped off my bed as she got off my lap, revealing my mother standing in the doorway, Ari standing behind her with an evil grin. At least it looked evil. "O-Oh! G-Good morning Misses T!" Amy got off my bed and straightened out her shirt, her cheeks glowing red.
