EPILOGUE

Liwanag agad ang nakita ko nang iminulat ko ang mata ko. Langit na siguro ito? Maybe I should looked for my parents here. Sigurado akong nandito sila.

Pero nagulat agad ako ng may biglang sumigaw at lumapit sa akin. And to my horror, it was ma'am Rebecca.

She pushed something on the wall and looked at me.

"Shayne! Finally gising ka na!" She happily while tears fell from her eyes. Agad akong naalarma dito at nabangon.

She immediately her head. "No. I am alright. I'm just happy." She said, wiping her tears.

"Okay ka lang ba? Wala ka bang nararamdamang sakit?" She worriedly asked.

I honestly don't feel numb and empty?

Akala ko ay katapusan ko na iyon. Pero may awa talaga ang Diyos. Maybe my mission on him is still undone.

"Shayne, p-paano mo nagawang magtrabaho sa c-club? Alam mong mali iyon." She said, broking the silence. Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. All this time, she knew?

She reached for my hand and looked at me.

"Shayne, sinabihan na kita. You could ask for help to me. I can be your family Shayne. Please wag mo na iyong ulitin."

Following my instinct, I scanned the room.

"M-ma'am, si Astrid po ba? Si Steven? Si Cienyz? Okay lang po na sila? Nasaan po sila?" Natataranta kong tanong.

Then if that is the purpose why I am still here, I need to fulfill that. I need to help him. No. The three of them.

Natigilan ito at tiningnan ako ng matagal.

"Kapatid mo ba?"

Umiling agad ako. How should I say this?

"Ma'am. Nakilala ko po sila sa bar. Sila po yung tumulong sa akin na makapag-aral. Kaibigan ko po ma'am." I safely said.

Gulat itong tumingin sa akin.

"A-anong ibig mong sabihin Shayne?" She asked in confusion.

I sighed. I need to tell her.

"Ma'am, sa bar po kami nagkakilala. Alam ko pong mali iyon...pero sila po talaga ang tumulong sa akin ma'am. Naalala niyo po ba si Steven? Siya po yung kumuha ng mga papeles ko po. Kaya hindi na ako nakapag-paalam." Nakayukong kong sabi.

She didn't answer. Instead, I saw tears in her eyes again...confusion and panic.

Agad din akong kinabahan dito. May nangyari bang masama sa kanila? No that can't be possible! Steven made his promise to me.

"May nangyari po ba sa kanila ma'am? Kamusta napo sila? Please tell me." I said in despair.

The door flew open and some people in white came in. The nurses immediately check me while the doctor scanned some papers.

"Shayne, how are you feeling now?" He said and checked my pulse.

I didn't answered. Instead, I asked a question.

"Naka-admit din ba dito si Cienyz? His full name is Cienyz Aaron Casiano . M-may mga kapatid din siya. Baka na-admit din. Si Steven Heilberg. Tapos si...." I trailed off. Hindi naman siya nasaktan diba? I...i had protected him.

"Astrid Devon Casiano." I finally said

Huminga ito ng malalim "None. Now how are you feeling?"

"B-baka nakaligtaan niyo lang po? Please double check it. I need to know their state." He sighed and looked at ma'am Stella.

"I need to schedule a therapy with her. Excuse me." He briefly said and stormed out of the room.

Namumugto pa din ang mata ni ma'am ng balingan ko.

She hold my hand again....and struck a more painful shock on my system.

"Shayne, you were on your way to the bar. Nabunggo ka ng sasakyan."

"You have been on coma for three years. At n-ngayon ka lang nagising."

Then Steven, Cienyz and Astrid is just a dream? A dream that I want to become a reality.

If that is all a dream then I should never wake up but then a find peace to those sleepless nights.

I am calmed but then is this what I really want?
