[DEMI'S POV]
As soon we walked out with Batman and Cinderella, Rachel's eyes lit up and I could tell she was excited but was keeping it under control. Rex didn't look to excited though. In fact he looked like he could care less.

'That's good. I guess?' I thought

I smiled at them and walked over to them slowly with a whining Batman in my arms. I knelt down infront of them and started to slowly pet Batman to calm him down a little.

"Rachel, this is Batman and that is Cinderella." I introduced while I pointed at each dog.

She reached out a little as to ask silently to pet them. I nodded my head  and held Batman out a little bit more. She brought her hand to his nose and he sniffed the back of her hand. She then put her other hand on Rex's head and started to pet both dogs.

I smiled at their reaction.

I waved momma over and she knelt down next to me. Rachel did the same thing to Cinderella  and smiled. It wasn't the usual tight lipped smile she always gave. But a small yet sweet toothy grin.

She took her hand off of Rex and started to try and get off of the couch. Well tried. I gave Batman to momma and picked Rachel up and sat her on the ground still holding her hands to keep her steady.

I looked up at momma and she had a sad expretion on. She tore her eyes from the small beaten child and looked at me. To which I gave a sad smile.

Rachel snapped her fingers and pointed to the floor next to her. Rex shot up and ran to her side. I latched her hands to his harness and she gripped tightly while Rex stood there strongly. They started to walk slowly with me on the other side of Rachel. She walked right up to momma and stopped. She took one hand off and put it up twords momma as to ask if she could pet. Momma knelt down again and held the dogs out. Instead of petting them she put Rex up to their face and let him smell them. Rex allowed them to sniff him.

"Momma put the dogs down please." I told my momma softly.

She looked at me like I was crazy but didn't question it. Once she did that, we got to see how small both Batman and Cinderella are compared to Rachel's monster dog. We let out small giggles and watch as the dogs inspected each other. Well, how my dogs inspected Rex since he couldn't move. Rachel must have noticed this and started to reach for me. I quickly picked her up and sat her on my hip as gently as possible. I looked at her and watched her smile and giggle at the dogs.

[DIANNA'S POV]

I watched this broken little girl in Demi's arms and smiled. She made my Demi happy and Demi made her happy. This in turn made me happy. I looked back down at the dogs and giggled as they tried to sniff each other. I them stopped giggling when I relized that they haven't go to the bathroom since six in the morning and it was now eleven.

"What's wrong momma?" Demi questioned probably noticing my nervous look.

"Nothing its just that the dogs haven't gone to the bathroom since six and it's almost eleven." I stated.

She nodded and walked over to the glass door.

Before she could open it I stopped her remembering the girls condition.

"Demi, sweetheart aren't you forgetting something?" I said in a mocking tone.

She looked confused that she remembered that Rachel is part albino.

She sucked her teeth and went to get her glasses while I giggled at her.

She mumbled a thank you and gave Rachel the glasses. Rachel looked disappointed but didn't argue.

'Such a good little girl.' I thought.

We walked outside and sat on her chairs.

"Can I please play Demi?" Rachel asked politly.

"Yes, but sit down on the porch so you don't hurt yourself, okay?" Demi said.

"Okay Demi." Rachel replied with an enthusiastic nod of her head.

Both Demi and I giggled at her eagerness and watched to make sure she was okay.

"Rex, toy." Rachel commanded with a strong voice.

Rex snapped his head in Rachel's direction and then ran to the toy, retrived it, and ran back to Rachel setting it softly in her hand.

"Good boy." She praised while giving his head a soft pet.

I looked at her shocked because I didn't know she had such a strong voice. Demi looked at me and laughed. At this point, her and that dog could rule the world.

[RACHEL'S POV]

I played with Rex by throwing the rope and having him go and get it. Batman and Cinderella chased after it too but were to slow. It made me feel bad so I told Rex the sit and stay then threw it again and let them chase it. To my great delight they brought it back however, they didn't let it go. I giggled and patted their heads while praising them. I ruffled their long, soft hair.

"They are silly, huh?" Dianna said while sitting next to me.

I jumped at the sudden noise but nodded in responce.

I like Dianna because she is nice and she cares about us.

'At least I think she does.'
