Chapter 2

Kazuto did the honours instead of waiting for Yuuki. Both of them were stubborn on their own terms, and the only reason why he began instead of her was because of the hundreds of eyes fixed on the two of them.

A private match can go on for hours and neither of them would complain, but when they were set up against an audience, Kazuto and Yuuki could never bring their nerves under control.

He started off with a couple of basic swings targeted at Yuuki's wrist and head respectively, and as he had expected, she parried them with ease.

Yuuki followed up with a couple of sweeps to his feet, which Kazuto dodged by jumping, and during the second jump, he raised his shinai above his head.

"Bad move, Yuu"

"Oh no", Yuuki squeaked and attempted to raise her shinai hopelessly. Knowing that it was futile against her brother, she braced for impact as Kazuto's shinai struck the top of her head gear causing her head to rattle.

"Men!!"

"POINT KAZUTO!!"

"Won't happen again, Nii-chan. I'm coming for you!"

"Bring it on!"

Yuuki did not spare another second and charged at Kazuto with a thrust to his abdomen which he deflected and Yuuki rolled out of the way immediately, knowing that Kazuto was absolutely lethal in counters.

Kazuto followed up with a series of vertical attacks aimed at her head which Yuuki blocked and the two of them crossed their shinais. Kazuto began to press on, attempting to throw Yuuki out of the mat and in the limited time frame, he loosened his grip and with a horizontal sweep, he loosely struck the side of her waist, causing her to lose balance and fall out of the mat.

"Do!!"

"2 POINTS TO KAZUTO!!"

Yuuki got back into the mat as quickly as she could and began to assault Kazuto with her powerful strikes. Kazuto's eyes widened as he barely managed to parry each and every one of her attacks.

He had parried twelve attacks at that point and even Kazuto could see the fatigue on Yuuki's face as the strength of her attacks weakened, and he planned to use his strength to overwhelm her and give her a dose of her own medicine, only to receive a big surprise.

Yuuki had deliberately loosened her grip, and when Kazuto took a split second to catch his breath, she pounced upon him like an eagle catching it's hapless prey.

She thrust her shinai forward at an unimaginable speed, right towards his face and made contact with his mask.

"Men!!"

"POINT YUUKI!!"

Yuuki, however, wasn't done with the single hit. She charged forward yet again and struck Kazuto's abdomen.

"Do!!"

"POINT YUUKI!!"

Two strikes - one on his head, and one on his stomach, and Kazuto was stunned. Yuuki was not done with her onslaught and charged at him yet again, with her shinai above her head and Kazuto crouched, and placed his shinai above his head, defending the vicious strike.

"My turn, Yuu"

Kazuto smirked and moved his focus to the tip of Yuuki's shinai, and pressed hard, making her hit her own head with her weapon, and Kazuto utilised the gap to drive his shinai close to her throat.

"Tsuki!"

"POINT KAZUTO!!"

Yuuki jumped behind, expecting another attack from Kazuto, but at that time, she noticed that she was on the edge of the mat yet again. Kazuto pressed on, smashing his shinai on her with his brute force, and even though Yuuki parried them, she was sent back each time, and half of her right foot was already out of the mat.
