The male lead looked at Chu Feng's actions. His eyes on her, not taking them off one bit. Was she trying to attract his attention? This woman never changes.

Chu Feng still didn't care. She kept looking at Physician Hu. Yesterday, was the first time she met him. She had brought Mei over to Physician Hu so that he could heal her. Watching Physician Hu take care of Mei so seriously has captivated Chu Feng, though not in a romantic way. She admires how seriously Physician Hu takes care of his patient.

Chu Feng quietly watched Physician Hu. Everyone else was too boring to watch. Zheng Mingran was a woman who has always been served by and not someone who serves others for she was raised to become the master fo Lake Valley. Once she was yelled at by someone like Madam Zhou, a person that she wanted to get on the good side of, her image broke.

She was someone who has always been praised.

Zheng Mingran was the second one to be treated next after Madam Zhou. She seemed to have calm down after getting treated. Though, she would not make eye contact with Chu Feng or anyone else but the young Prime Minister Zhou.

After a session of listening to Madam Zhou's lecturing, especially towards her daughter in laws, everyone was dismissed. Madam zhou continued to rub her head. She was really stressing nonstop.

Her first daughter in law was said to be a beauty so she had agreed for Han Qin Xi to marry her son even if her reputation was not as good. Seeing Han Qin Xi's over powdered face before her eyes has really made her head hurt. Although, Madam Zhou did really like Han Qin Xi's calm personality. Somehow, the rumors seemed to have switched.

Her other two daughter in laws were renown and praised endlessly yet both of them turned out to be so troublesome. Her son, nonetheless was the one who brought them two over. They hadn't even really have a proper wedding yet and trouble already came.

Madam Zhou sighed in her heart. Youngsters these days really have the energy to quarrel and do anything for favor.

If this keep on continuing, when will she get to hold her grandchildren?

As Madam Zhou was contemplating, Chu Feng excused herself. She needed to attend to some matters.

The servants immediately backed away and bowed to Chu feng, seeing that their First Madam got up. They needn't do that, but somehow their bodies bowed anyways. The scene from yesterday just brings them nightmares. To easily take someone's life away in front of everyone was not something anyone could do.

Chu Feng saw but she didn't care. She leisurely walked away as if she did not see what they were doing.

First Madam is really mad!

All the servants thought while holding onto their precious lives. Best not to make her angry.

Madam Zhou was busy with drinking her tea from her new tea set so she didn't notice anything. The young Prime Minister Zhou also did not see anything. He was too busy comforting Zheng Mingran who was crying for his help and comfort. After all, she did break Madam Zhou's favorite tea set.

Chu Feng walked along the halls alone. The sun shined brightly on her. It was already afternoon. She needed to go out for a stretch. Sitting around listening to someone's lecture was tiring.

As she left the Prime Minister's residence, the two guards bowed down to her.

Chu Feng remembered to bring extra crystals. She still had another small mouth to feed at her true home. Her little child must be waiting to be fed.

It felt like she was before in her universe. She had to work long hours and go home to feed her non-related siblings.

The marketplace was more busy than the usual. Everyone was either wearing blue, white, or gold. Every shop was decorated with moons and stars. There were fireworks lit at every corner. Little kids ran around with dragon shaped sugar candies.

"Lady, would you like to buy a mask for the Three Moons Festival?" A shopkeeper saw Chu feng looking around.

"Three Moons Festival?" Chu Feng questioned. She don't really remember anything about the Three Moons Festival, but she felt like she was missing something important about it. What is it that she was missing?

"Lady, do you not know? The Three Moons Festival is when the Great Deity Xia, one of the Moon goddess, comes down from the moon to visit us. It's also when most women find their soulmates."

Ah, so it was this time of the year!

Chu Feng remembered what was known as "The Lover that the Male Lead could not have" by the readers.
