Jeongguk's eyes followed the pretty brunette walking around, wanting to stop staring but found himself unable to. He rested his chin on the palm of his hand, his arm propped on the armrest of his chair.

The brunette felt a burning gaze on himself and turned to the now red head. He sent a smile to the young prince, fluttering him, before returning to his tasks of handing out drinks to the guest of this birthday anniversary.

Jeongguk turn away, hiding the evident blush on his face, though Taehyung didn't see.

As Taehyung walked around, he bumped into the back an aristocrat, falling and dropping the tray.

The white coat if the aristocrat was stained with the red wine from the cups. Taehyung wore a worried expression as the man turned around with a glare.

Taehyung stood and started spilling apologies. "Forgive me for my clumsiness sir."

Jeongguk's gaze turned to see the man grab Taehyung by the collar with one hand and raise the other hand.

Just as the man swung his hand, the young prince intervened. The white, also stained with wine, coated man'S face distorted with pain as the prince's grip was strong.

"How dare you lay a hand on one of the castle servants." Jeongguk said with cold tone he had used before.

"Your servant here, spilled wine on my coat." The man argued. Jeongguk observed he front of the man's coat.

"It's not like anyone stares at your back, so I suggest you leave things as is before it gets worse." Jeongguk said.

"I beg your pardon?" The man said.

"I said leave or else." Jeongguk growled. The aristocrat scoffed and walked away.

"You okay?" Jeongguk asked Taehyung, with his hands on the elder's shoulder.

"I'm fine, Jeongguk." Taehyung said shrugging off the younger's hands. "He didn't do anything to me."

"Yet." Jeongguk added.

"Yet." Taehyung corrects himself. "But you stopped him. I'm okay." Taehyung smiles reassuringly at Jeongguk.

"Okay good." Jeongguk says returning the smile. "Let's go to the garden."

"But what about this mess?" Taehyung says gesturing to the broken glass and spilled wine.

"Someone else will get it." Jeongguk grabbed Taehyung's hand, causing the elder to blush. The younger smiled and lead him to the garden.

The two walking to the garden earning curious stares from the people around them, though none of that bother the now 21 year old prince.

Jeongguk pushed open the glass door and walked in with Taehyung right behind him.

Jeongguk lead him to a group of colorful roses. The roses seemed to have all the colors of the rainbow.

"Why are these next to those?" Taehyung asked about the roses pointing at the Jeon's flower.

Jeongguk shrugged. "Don't ask me. Uri organized the garden, though... I've never seen her come here."

Jeongguk crounched down and picked up a red rose. As red as blood. With a swift movement of his hand, he removed the thorns.

He stood back and turned to Taehyung. Taehyung stared at Jeongguk as the younger placed the red rose in his hair.

Jeongguk leaned back and admired the beautiful man standing in front of him. Taehyung blushed and turned away.

Jeongguk chuckled. "You're beautiful." He said to the brunette.

Taehyung hid his face behind his hands, shaking head, the rose threatening to fall out. The younger only found more amusement in this and gently removed Taehyung's hands from his face.

"There you are." Jeongguk said, once seeing Taehyung's face.

"I never left." Taehyung laughs.

"I know." Jeongguk said and flashed his bunny smile.

Then from above, the glass of the roof shattered, raining down on them as a figure covered in black clothes came down in front of them.

Jimin left the party, exiting the double doors.

Yoongi stood outside of the party doors at his post. He spotted the blonde come out but decided to ignore it.

Jimin stood there for a moment, then finally looked toward Yoongi.

"Hyung?" He called out to the ravenette. "Can I talk to you?"

The guard stood still and made response.

"Please?" Jimin pleaded the elder.

Yoongi sighed. "Okay."

The pair walked to an animal sanctuary, Jimin's favorite place in the palace.

It consisted of different biomes. One part being as cold as the mountain tops and another being as hot as the Goron desert.

Jimin and Yoongi walked to the cold, snowy part of the sanctuary. Jimin kneeled down and a small, white, furry bear ran towards him.

Jimin picked up the bear cub and set it on his lap. He gestured for Yoongi to sit but the elder just shook his head and continued standing.

"I didn't mean the stuff I said the other day." Jimin said as a delicate hand moved across the back of the bear.

"I know." Yoongi responds.

"I just... I guess I didn't like how friendly you were with Taehyung." As Jimin finished speaking, a black figure jumped out from inside one of the snow covered bushes.

He charged toward Jimin with a knife but was frozen in his tracks as ice climbed up his legs. Jimin looked up, just now realizing that the figure was even there. The white bear cub ran off and Jimin stood.

Yoongi grabbed the knife from the figure's outstretched arm. He examined it for a moment then dragged the knife along the outstretched arm.

"As I expected." Yoongi stated as the man paled and the life drained from his eyes. "Poisoned."

Jimin watched with awe as the elder seemed to be so calm and in control of the situation.

"I suspected that he wasn't the only target." Yoongi said as the ice grew and soon covered the man. "The king, your brother and sister must've been targeted too."

Jimin's eyes widen as the ice shattered, killing the assasin. "We should go check on Jeongguk." Jimin said wiping a piece of ice, and the man, off his shoulder.

Yoongi nodded. "He went with Taehyung to the gardens I think."

The black-clothed assasin landed beside the black flowers and behind Taehyung. As the knife in his hand was thrusted forward, Taehyung was shoved out of the way by Jeongguk.

Taehyung watched with horror as the knife was plunged into Jeongguk's abdomen.
