Sorry, this chapter took me a while to update but I have successfully failed all my tests this year which kind of sucks as I in the academic program at my school. So I was slowly spiraling into depression and them my favorite book character died in the book I was reading and to add to that my school had us dissect a fish today which when against all my vegetarian morals. Yeah, that was my trash day. But I uploaded it. Sorry that it is kind of uninteresting, but the next chapter is getting saucy ;)( probably( hopefully)) * nervous laughter *
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter and congratulations to all the people who actually read this, I'm proud of you.
Ximena out.
After my mental breakdown at the sky, I mutter the guards a small apology before heading back to the hell hole they call the court.
As I approached the doors to the hall my insides felt washed and cleansed after my hysterical yelling tantrum. The screams of my pain had left me feeling fresh and when the guards pushed open the doors I didn't mind that everyone stared at me. I didn't mind that the defending chatter that constantly emanated from the room draw silent and cold.
Their eyes glued themselves to me, following me as I walked purposefully took towards the royal family sat on their elevated platform. Even the King stopped to stare at this eloquent stranger that had pronounced herself in front of the whole court.
His eyes scanned mine. But even as I curtsied my eyes refused to leave disconnect with the King's. My stare never faltered, my smile never wavered, and my head never bowed.
Giving the king a sly smile I spun around and walked towards my sit at the low table, giving the King and the rest of the court a fabulous view of my v-lined lace backless dress.
My eyes spoke more than any words but the King's spoke as well. And they told me that he was well aware that he was in the presence of a beauty dipped demon, who got spat out of hell. A demon who spun through fields of ivy only to end up in the hands of death. A demon.

The hall crept closer, locking onto my shoulders as I mosied around the onwards. Drops of water and far off chatter filled the halls as the only sounds. My footsteps didn't make a sound as I crept forward feeling my way across the stone.
The blackness engulfed my figure forcing my eyes to reach a level of unnecessary strain. A light would've been too risky and I really didn't want to get court. I didn't feel like killing tonight.
My search through the castle so far had been unsuccessful. The supply of information about Princess Jonquil wasn't short, but all were just rumors and nothing more. And there was no way to spy on the princess due to the fact that she lived in a tower with the window blocked up, and the only people allowed to use the single key that the king had were the King himself, the Queen and their most trusted advisers. So my chances of getting in. Non-existent.
My time and chances were running out and leap needed to be taken. Winters' finger were already slipping from the rope of weather as summer heaved for control. The snow was melting and the days to spring were counting down and I needed that money.
Unfortunately, my feral leap of faith was being taken tonight. And right around the corner. And right around this corner was the King's bedroom. Yeah, I was desperate, and really sleep deprived. So with my out of framed mind, this was probably not the greatest idea. But my life wasn't something that I valued, but I did value money and the stepping stones to my yearly salary waiting right around the corner. There was no way this wouldn't end without consequences, but I was just about over this job.
my eye adjusted to the gloom and I watch as a council member bid the King goodnight and fled down the adjacent hallway. the light the marinated from the King's suit was shut off by the closing of the door.
"Now or never, " I whispered to myself and stepped into the hall and reached my hand out to the handle.
