"Beh! I passed! I know you did too. Sabay tayo mag-aral eh."

"Well, you're not wrong about that. Congrats to us beh!" Bea embraced me tight and kissed me on the cheek. I really love her hugs.

"Oh, by the way. I already texted Mom and she wants me to invite you over for dinner. Is it okay with you?"

"Oh okay. I'll just let Mama know. I'll text you."

"Uhm, beh?"

"Hmm?"

"We don't really have each other's numbers."

"Weh. Seryoso?"

She laughed and I did too. All this time?

"Akin na phone mo." I pried her phone out of her hands and put in my number. I also put my info in her contacts.

"Really? Jho Maraguinot?"

"What? That's my contact."

"Uhm. No." She immediately typed and edited my contact information.

"What did you put in?"

"Secret." She smirked and winked at me. Hay nako.

Mama fetched me from school and I already told her the good news.

"Ma! Bea and I passed this summer class!" I exclaimed as we walked our way to the tricycles in line waiting for passengers.

"That's great, anak! You seem to talk about Bea a lot ah?"

"Mama, she's my best friend. We're always together so it's only normal for me to talk about her."

"So, when do I get to meet her?" There was a short pause before I answered. I guess getting on the tricycle was the perfect distraction for Mama and a blessing for me while I think about a reply.

"Sabihan ko po siya Ma." Really? That was all I could piece together?

I guess Mama got really curious about Bea. For the past 2 months, she's all I blab about except for acads.

"By the way, she invited me over for dinner po. Mom niya daw nag-invite sa 'kin. Okay lang po ba if I go?"

"Sure, Jhoana. You rarely go out of the house."

My eyes widened in excitement. "Thanks Ma! Update po kita kung anong oras ako uuwi."

"Okay. Enjoy there okay?"

I went to my room and chatted Bea.

Beh, pinayagan ako ni Mama.
See you!
