"This is the Asguardian refugee vessel Statesman. We are under assault, I repeat, we are under assault. The engines are dead, life support is failing. Requesting aid from any vessel within range. We are 22 jump points out of Asgard..." the voice becomes more desperate and pleading.

"Our crew is made up of Asgardian families, we have very few soldiers here. This is not a warcraft. I repeat, this is not a warcraft!"

Loki and Thor told me to hide between the broken metal as Heimdall who was badly wounded, he reaches out as if he would stop Ebony Maw as Ebony Maw passes by him. I felt sick to my stomach when I saw the dead Asgardian families scattered through the floor. Ebony Maw steps over them with no mind as he speaks, as if the Asgardian families were scattered pieces of dirty clothing on a bedroom floor.

I tried to convince Loki and Thor even Heimdall to let me fight and transport families little by little to Earth, but they said that I would die before even half of them gets through the portal. I had a big wound on my arm, a broken ankle but my healing powers were acting up. I groaned from the pain as I saw Ebony Maw raising his hand. The immortality liquid made me sick to my stomach since it was still processing through my system.

"Hear me, and rejoice. You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering... no. It's salvation. Universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile..." Ebony Maw said.

Corvus Glaive stabs one of the lingering Asgardians making me want to fight that skinny bitch.

"For even in death, you have become children of Thanos." Ebony Maw finished his speech.

That's when I saw Thanos walk in with his helmet on. Loki stood next to the Black Order as he watches Thanos, shrouded in darkness and light, a vague silhouette.

"I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right... yet to fail, nonetheless." Thanos said as he picked up Thor by the neck of his breastplate. Thor struggles against him making me hold in a sob as I put my hand over my mouth.

"It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say.... I AM." Thanos continued to say.

At this point I was in shock. I couldn't even move.

Thanos holds up his hand to reveal the Infinity Gauntlet, which already hosts the violet power stone. Thor was being held by Thanos with one of his huge hands, wrapping around his head, blood drools from his mouth.

"You talk too much." Thor said.

Thanos then turned to look at Loki.

"The Tesseract, or your brother's head. I assume you have a preference." Thanos told Loki.
