Explanation

I know that the book was very confusing so here's the explanation.

1. Who was Ana, Dan, Izzy, Sam, Max, and Sue really?

Ana was a code name for Anorexia.

Dan was a code name for depression.

Izzy was a code name for insomnia.

Sam was a code name for self-harm.

Max was a code name for anxiety.

Sue was a code name to suicidal/suicide.

2. Dan-

When he was lying next to Jimin, he was actually in his head, that little voice that makes you think all of those bad thoughts. That's why he said that Ana and Sam may help him. Depression leads to other things. He brought with him to Jimin anorexia, self-harm, insomnia, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

3. Ana-

She was the little voice telling Jimin at the back of his head, that he's too fat and he needs to lose weight. Every time, he wanted to eat, the small voice shouted at her no. She never hurt him physically, only mentally. Jimin made himself lose weight and he got so bad, that he couldn't even hold water inside himself anymore.

4. Sam-

He was self-harm. That's why he always massaged his hands, while actually, Jimin was cutting. That's why he was so good at getting rid of stress. It was actually psychical pain that overpowered the mental pain.

5. Izzy-

She was insomnia. That's why she always texted Jimin at night at kept him up so late. She never excited. It was just Jimin himself, scrolling through his phone or just thinking thoughts that kept himself up so late.

6. Max-

Max was anxiety. That's why he didn't pop up so much in the story. He texted things that made him nervous when actually Jimin's mind was telling him all along that something was not right.

7. Sue-

Sue was suicidal/suicide. When Jimin texted him, he was just thinking suicidal thoughts and ways to kill himself and trying to find the point to keep on living. When Jimin called her, he just was on the verge of dying. When she arrived, was when he died and his soul left his body. She showed him the way to heaven.
ANd if anyone is wondering, he died because he was so weak and he cut deep on both hands, that he died of blood loss. That's why Yoongi was crying, he knew he killed himself and on the phone, Jimin cut the call before he could say goodbye. That's why the book ends with- "I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye..."
