Chapter 19 part b

A/n let's get this shit done, sorry if I've been sounding less enthusiastic but like living is a bitch right now. Here's the second half.

Shuichi pov

I list some of the things that are great about him and he just stares at me in awe and silence.

"F-f-fiancé?" Oh shit I did say that.
"W-well not actually but yo-you did propose technically and I didn't say no, although I suppose since we're only in high school that it's too soon, and I guess it was more of a promise than a proposal and I-" he kisses me to shut  e up from my rambling.
"Calm down Shu."
"S-Sorry."
"Now! Since we still have time before we have to go to sleep what do you want to do?"
"What? It's 9:35 what time do you fall asleep at?!"
"From 12:30-5:00 am usually."
"What the fuck?"
"I'm a night owl, duh." He rolls his eyes as though it was obvious.
"Well how am I supposed to know I go to bed early."
"I don't always stay up that late though. When I cuddle you I fall asleep really early."
"You're also a really heavy sleeper." I rub the back of my neck remembering the last time he wouldn't wake up.
"Yeah yeah I know."
"You asked what I wanted to do right?"
"Yeah......?"
"I want to dance."
"I, okay! We can dance together. Lemme check my closet."

He goes into his walk-in closet and comes out wearing a pale blue woman's off the shoulder shirt and a black tank top underneath with grey sweatpants.

"Well what'dya think?"
"You look great but I don't think that this is the dancing I was thinking of, besides I can't dance like that."
"O-oh well then can I teach you a choreography?"
"I guess but what do I wear?"
"I have an idea come with me."

I go into his closet and it's honestly slightly impressive.

"You're house is so big compared to mine."
"It might be bigger but I like yours more."
"Right." It's large and empty of course he'd hate it here.

He grabs a medium sized tank top and some sweats. Both of them are pastel green. He chucks some shoes at me and surprisingly they're my size.

"How do you have my sized clothes."
"Sometimes I like oversized things."
"And the shoes?"
"They're chunky on my feet it looks cool."
"Huh."
"So do you want to learn or not."
"Ok let's go."

I follow him into an empty room most likely used as a mini dance studio. After all we both enjoy dancing.

"Alrighty stretch on the floor you're gonna want to be warmed up for this one."

I nod and start stretching I never knew how flexible I was I can practically do the splits. After stretching I feel pretty warmed up so I look up at Kokichi in anticipation. He grabs my hands and pulls me up so that I'm standing.

"O-kay! Now that your ready follow me. Start by facing me with your hands at the sides of the top of your head. Like this." Just picture the matryoshka beginning when they do the hand thing you know what I'm talking about.
"L-Like this?" I put my hands up as he showed me. Not gonna lie but this feels a bit odd.
"Mhm! Just like that! Now once I reach four quickly fold your hands down twice pause then fold them down once. 1-2-3-4."
I do as he instructs. Why did he say to stretch this isn't even hard?
"Well you're doing fine so far but this is the easy part. Now after you do your little hand flaps put your hand up and count to four on your hand."
"Ok? Kokichi why is this necessary?"
"Just do it!"
"Alright, alright." This dance sure is strange.
"Now that you've done that basically skip around and back up a couple feet. Just watch me."

Kokichi pov

I start off facing the chair I was sitting in keeping the beat in my mind, and go! I start repeating everything I showed Shumai myself.

"And now you see why that's important that was the intro to the dance."
"Ah I get it now can we try it together?"
"Sure this is a two person dance after all."

We go through the intro a few times before Shu gets it. On the fifth try he succeeds.

"Good job Shu! Now we can move on, point your toes inward and heels facing out. Then move to the left as you do so switch your feet to the opposite position heels in toes out continuing to the left repeat that three times."
"Like this?" He moves his feet correctly but does it way too many times.
"No no no, Shu your toes go in, out, in. Not however many times that was." He puts his index finger and thumb on his chin and nods in understanding. What a detective.

He demonstrates again and this time he gets it right.

"Yes exactly! I'm so excited to finally have someone to dance with."
"How long have you *yawn* been wanting a dance partner?"
"Since my beginning at the academy."
"So two years then?"
"Yeah basically."
"*yawn* I feel bad that I never noticed that you dance *yawn*."
My apologies for anyone that yawns while reading this.
"Your tired huh?"
"Yeah it is 11:00, and this is really late for me."
"Okay I guess we can continue tomorrow, c'mon."

I lead him up the stairs as he tiredly follows. He's so cute when he's tired but I don't want to deal with a sleep deprived Saihara-chan he's never fun to hang around and he's a big meanie. I change into a woman's sweater and silk shorts. I know a tad bit gay but like, so am I so fuck it. It's also more comfortable than sleeping in the nude. I hop on my bed and roll to the middle.

"Shu Shu are you done changing?"
"Yeah."
"Then get in bed dummy!"
"Oh r-right."

He climbs into bed behind me and I face towards him. He runs his hands through my hair and not too long after I fall asleep in his arms.

A/n why do so many of these fuckin chapters end in them falling asleep? Because I am unoriginal. Anyway more dancing Oumasai because I can. Have a great day/night
